Hi You should probably post this question on the LA board of Trip Advisor to get,first hand info I would pick one hotel as changing is a big pain and loses time Rodeo Drive is high end shopping Is that what you want to do there? The tar pit,walk of fame and seeing the Holluwood sign from afar will not take much time at all You need to make a res for the studio tour and then plan the other activities around that timing You can use uber/lyft to get around instead of driving yourself You know your teens but in my experience it's not easy getting them up to be somewhere at 6:30 AM!

We always sit up top in the back m so not interested in "saved"seats up front

We haven't checked luggage anywhere in the last 15years! As long as you can pull the luggage and lift it onto the x Ray belt you're ok

You can just call from the phone in your cabin to make a res or you can go to the restaurant to make it

Didn't need it for the cruise we just took to Mexico!

We book suites so get free first night specialty dining For my last 4 cruises I had no problems booking this on the app with NO charge to my credit card HOWEVER, for my up coming cruise in May the app either wants to charge me,OR shows it correctly at no charge but doesn't confirm the res! Very annoying!!

There is a veryngood walking tour map on line at the visit Sitka site Also as time gets closer the park rangers in Sitka do free tours and will list them on the park web site

The app is wonky Sometimes it works to make the res and sometimes you need to do it first thing when you get on board You Do need a res for specialty dining No need for res for dinner in the Club Class area

Thanks to those who gave information Some cruise lines don't offer a lot of activities or entertainment I was just trying to get a better feel for Celebrity

Hi all We are trying our first Celebrity cruise on Eclipse in October We are not late night people but we do like to have something to do after an early dinner and on board if we have sea days or don't feel like going ashore I have heard that Celbrity is an "entertainment yourself" cruise line and not sure exactly what that might mean Can you describe any of the activities we might find during the day or early evening? I was just on the Diamond and a mom pushing an infant in a carriage told me that her baby needed a medallion to board!! Very strange!!

Titos is included There is a happy hour lounge with a changing array of apps There is suite breakfast offered in either Sabatini or the Crown Grill depending We often just eat breakfast in club class to keep,it simple Club classmis a separate area,of the mdr for suites You can have the same table and staff each night No need for reservations just walk in There is an extra main dish offered You will also be able to order apps delivered to your cabin You will get the contents of the mini bar for free and can exchange things You also get a free first night dinner in a specialty restaurant We love the Crown Grill The pizza on the Lido is great!!

I love whatsapp!! To use FaceTime everyone needs an apple phone You can use whatsapp on any phone It's also quite commonly used in Europe so can contact hotels and tour providers with it
