  17. It is perfectly safe to walk around there to restaurants etc! Not sure where you read anything about danger there? Despite what some folks say about walking to the terminal,I'd just take the hotel shuttle When you check in you tell them which time you want to be on the shuttle They have a certain number for each shuttle run You just go down a few minutes before the time(maybe 15) and that's that Quite easy

  20. You will get info on the ship about where to meet Yes you usually meet on the ship but it wouldn't be hard to find the tour if you happened to be on a tender without the tour group They would have signs on the pier and you would easily be able to find your group

  22. I would not expect to be at taxi at 8 am Docking at 7 doesn't mean folks start leaving at that hour People with high status and suites get off first We have been in that first group and not outside until 8:30 You may luck out to be out early but I wouldn't count on it
  23. I've been on 2 land visits to Japan Train stops are announced in English as well as in Japanese Signage uses English lettering It is easier than you imagine to take trains in Japan
