  1. I don’t know, I’ve never used one. EM
  2. The hallway isn’t any narrower, just looks that way because it is longer to accommodate the second half bath and extra closet. EM
  3. This sounds like a US port. Not the same in Europe. Turnaround day in Europe is just another port day for B2B guests. EM
  4. Not a problem, as long as it is empty at the time. EM
  5. There is a board here for OZ/NZ cruisers and I’m sure they can give you ideas about what to do and how to do it. There are probably suggestions on the Ports of Call boards, too. EM
  6. Seascape will use the card, it wristbands may a,so be available. EM
  7. Welcome. But you need to go to the Roll Call forum for MSC, choose your ship, and post your roll call there. EM
  8. My first gty onPrincess was. B2B to Alaska in an inside. Booked only about 5 weeks out. Was given an absolutely huge handicap cabin. TA said it was probably the only one they had for both weeks. Booked a four day in December 2019 solo, not even sure what category I booked, but it definitely wasn’t the mini-suite I got. EM
  9. If the change desired is really important, using those same three dots, click on Report, and ask the mods to make the change, explaining why. They might or might not do it. If they don’t, you can reply to your own post, quoting the post and explaining what needs changed. EM
  10. If your friends are really set on booking one, I would go ahead and do it, with a clear understanding of the cancellation period. When I got to my pre-cruise hotel in Piraeus, I would check the 5 day weather forecast on whatever weather app you have on your phone. If it looks to be too chilly, cancel then, or as soon as you board. Your sea day is between Santorini and Valletta, and Santorini would be too late to cancel if the limit is 48 hours. EM
  11. Have you researched on the Gulf Coast Departures board, under North American Homeports? EM
  12. The older the ship, the larger the library. The largest library for me was on the Holiday class, and next the Fantasy class. Splendor had a smaller but decent library. Pride/Spirit class had a nice library but I think those have been repurposed. That is not to say that there are many books there. EM
  13. You are in the wrong place for this question. This board is for questions about technical problems using the forums. You need to do research on the Ports of Call boards. It is located further down on the main boards page. EM
  14. Since you are asking about a particular ship on a particular line, your best bet for a quick answer will be to ask on the board here for that cruise line. This board does not get nearly as much traffic. EM
  15. Get a copy of Rick Steves’ SCANDINAVIA AND Northern Europe Cruise Ports. He will tell you what you can DIY in the ports and how to do it. EM
  16. I believe P&O-UK still has two adult only ships. Saga cruises is 50 or maybe 55 to sail. I believe you can sail with a friend as long as they are at least 40. EM
  17. I’m just the opposite. Why do guests who already have a balcony need the Sanctuary? I think first come should be for insides, then OV cabins. EM
  18. Whether you need an accessible cabin, I believe P&O requires anyone bringing a mobility device to have a HC cabin. Even if you think it will fit through the cabin door of a regular balcony, you must have a HC cabin. Check on your cruise line website and ask on the P&O-UK forum here. I did not find steep hills in Stavanger. I found it quite walkable, though I remember cobblestones. EM
  19. You might get more answers if you ask on the West Coast Departures. Oard, under North American Homeports. EM
  20. Suggestion: when the time comes that you can do online checkin, go into each booking and choose the desired time. You can do that without completing the rest of the checkin. Then go back and do your own checkin. By the time you have finished that, you will know exactly what you will need from the others. You don’t have to do that immediately. You can put off finishing for a few days. EM
  21. I think these stops end up being dropped, so there might not be much to report. EM
  22. You are a year away, and by that time you may have a better idea of how much you can trust the judgment of your tweens. On the family board here, most recommend setting down guidelines. You might consider allowing them specific freedoms…’yes, you can go get pizza, ice cream, etc. but come right back and stay together’. EM
  23. Take a lanyard and have them punch a hole in the card. EM
