  1. As posted. Princess Cays only. On shore alcoholic selections are limited. There are no fountain sodas. That part of the drink package is not available.
  2. As posted, yes. It is two cruise credits per person. If you are a single in a full suite you receive three cruise credits. It takes 15 cruise credits or 150 days to reach elite status. Once reached there is almost no benefit. If you are a first time Princess customer, or have elite loyalty status, sailing in a full suite, cruise credits and loyalty status have basically no meaning or benefit.
  3. One device at a time. To change log out and log in. If you really require additional devices at the same time there is a 4 device package offered.
  4. You are on the Ruby Princess. On that class of ship any dance sessions will probably be held in one of the clubs, such as Club Fusion, where there is some dance space. These kinds of activities are held on sea days. The more sea days the more sessions. If you are on a tropical cruise there will probably be a sail away event and an evening party in the pool area. These parties and all other parties always morph into line dancing. Moves are very easy to learn on the spot. On longer cruises there may be a line dancing session where a staff member goes over Princess line dance steps. On Grand Class ships, Ruby, the Piazza is fairly tight. There is not much space for large dancing groups, and there is a lot going on there with the International Cafe, the Wine Bar, the Piazza Good Spirits Bar, tables for eating and chairs for sitting. The daily event listings as well as Journey View on the App, screens around the ship, & cabin TV will show any dance session times and locations. Like I mentioned all parties seem to always have line dancing. On Hawaii cruises, lots of sea days , there are hula lesson sessions with a stage show at the end of the cruise. If you are on one of the port intensive 7 day cruises, like Alaska, don't expect too much. Same with the shorter get-a-way itineraries. If you are on one of the longer cruises, 10, 11, 16 day there will be more sea days and more activities. Tropical itineraries tend to have those deck parties. Non tropical cruises tend to move the parties indoors into one of the clubs or a tight squeeze into the Piazza.
  5. There is usually Zumba like exercise on sea day mornings. Usually in Club Fusion, deck 7 aft. Check the daily activity listings. There is no charge.
  6. We did the Quebec City to Brooklyn in August. It was nice. I don't think there is any time that is better than another, although the late season might force more crowds indoors. Whatever fits your schedule at the time is the best time. From your signature I'm thinking you are from VT. If so you know the normal weather patterns for this area.
  7. Closest daytime bar is probably Outriggers or Calypso Bar on deck 15.
  8. There are plenty of beaches in the Caribbean islands where you can just go yourself. If you mention the island(s) that interest you I'm certain you can get lots of ideas. That way you can go and return according to your own schedule with no refund issue.
  9. Between Ketchikan and Whittier, 5 days, the ship is in Alaska waters. The ship never leaves into international waters. Are casinos open during that time?
  10. How many people in your party? Have you investigated a private car transfer for the entire party. I think it might be less or very nearly equal to Princess transfers and way more convenient. Also if you take a Princess transfer you will probably arrive at the pier around 1pm. Boarding does begin earlier. I would also recommend that you transfer to Southampton upon arrival in Heathrow. You can stay overnight in Southampton where there will be a quick cab ride to the pier. You will be less tired and will have way less logistical issues. We booked a private transfer from the airport to Southampton. The driver met us at the exit from Customs, handled our luggage and drove us, approximately 1 1/2 hours, directly to our hotel in Southampton. We slept along the way. There are many hotels in Southampton. We choose the Holiday Inn. Our hotel room was ready when we arrived.
  11. ???? Is the casino open in Alaska territorial waters?
  12. Does not show as a stand alone package on the Princess web site. It is part of other fare packages or other beverage packages.
  13. All cards expired somewhere around 2018/2019.
  14. Two cruises. Each voyage number (not booking number) counts as one cruise. How it is sold it not relevant.
  15. There is a good selection of hotels. We chose the Holiday Inn near the pier. It is in reasonable walking distance to the downtown area and the hotel was fairly nice. A taxi was needed to take us the short distance to the pier on sailing day. We booked a private car transfer on line from Heathrow to the Holiday Inn. The rate was reasonable and there was no hassle, no waiting for bus schedules or trains, no transfers from the bus station to the hotel. Direct service from the airport exit to the hotel's front door. The driver met us inside the airport when we exited the Customs security area. We were able to rest (actually sleep) in route after the overnight flight. The drive is around 1 1/2 hours.
  16. The Royal Class ships hold 3,660 passengers double occupancy. Easter is normally a family vacation time. Passenger loads swell over these holiday periods. Many cabins have 3 and 4 occupants. In general the Royal Class ships have more passengers than there is space for them. They rely on outside seating. I try to book the older Grand Class ships. Lack of a Crooners on the Sky doesn't help. Crooners was put back on the next two builds.
  17. I checked this morning. Bookings are now available. It appears that cabin selections are somewhat limited. I would contact your T.A. again. If that does not work, I would contact a Princess Vacation Planner.
  18. The Coral Princess and Island Princess are the only two Princess ships in the fleet that are "Panamax" in size. They were built in the early 2,000s to the maximum width and length to fit through the Panama Canal locks at that time, the old locks. These two ships have some full transits planned for the end of 2024 and 2025. They will transit the old locks. Since 2016 the new wider and longer locks opened. On the Atlantic side these are the Agua Clara locks. Ships like the Ruby and other large ships as well as giant freighters can now transit the canal. Before 2016 these ships had to transit around Cape Horn to sail into the Pacific. The old locks will be on your starboard side as you transit the Agua Clara locks. You most likely will not be able to see them at all, or you may catch a slight view of the building. If you want to see them you would have to book a Princess tour. Other cruise lines have some smaller ships that have P.C. itineraries. If you are intent on going through the old locks then you might wish to research these lines. I have been through both. Personally I think a tour trip through the old locks is the better option to see the old locks.
  19. Ask the waiter for the cost of what you want. Once you figure it out your set for the entire trip.
  20. The passage contract, shown below, does allow 20 and 17 year olds in a family group to be in a separate cabin. If I understand the two parents wish to book a plus or premier fare. Princess rules state that if you book this fare then the first two cabin occupants must have the same fare. Booking one parent in each cabin would cause all four to have an inclusive fare. You may be able to get around this by booking the frills fares and then purchasing the upgrade on the 1st day on board. This would have to be checked out. I looked on line. The December 16th Sky Princess cruise is not currently available for booking. This may mean it is sold out, they are changing fares, all cabins are now gtys so that you can't select specific cabins. It is difficult to determine exactly what is going on. Perhaps a Princess cruise planner could assist. No Guest under 21 years of age is permitted to book a cruise, and any Guest under 21 years of age must travel in a stateroom with a Guest 21 years or older who shall assume responsibility for their care during the cruise. For family groups booking multiple staterooms, the minimum age for at least one person in each stateroom is 16 years of age, provided they are traveling with a parent or legal guardian.
  21. To emphasize post #2. You can add the plus or premier package to your cruise on the first day. These packages include wifi, daily crew incentive, either the plus or premier beverage package as well as some other items. To purchase a stand alone beverage package really isn't very cost effective.
  22. Makes lots of sense. Only U.S. flagged, U.S. staffed and U.S. built ships can sail between different U.S. sea ports without visiting another distant country. It's basic labor protection. The basic law goes back to the 1880's, and I don't think it's about to change anytime soon.
  23. Below is the flyer showing full suite benefits. Some benefits are connected to the ship being booked. For example the soon to be launched Sun Princess will have some exclusive areas and DR for full suite passengers. Royal Class ships have a concierge lounge. Some newer ships have the 360 dining experience. All ships will have the special full suite breakfast and reserve class dining. https://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/ships/PrincessSuite_eFlyer.pdf The basic benefit of a reserve class mini suite is reserve class dining. There are just a few other what I consider minor benefits. https://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/ships/reserve-collection/reserve-collection-overview-eflyer.pdf
  24. You should post this on RCCL boards, and file any complaints with RCCL. This is a Princess site. You were booked to board in Seattle and disembark in Honolulu. These are two different U.S. ports without visiting a distant foreign port which is a violation of the PVSA. Your cruise line should have never allowed you to book this itinerary.
