    I’m from South Carolina and we use offal in our SC Barbecue Hash. Things like heads, hocks, liver and lights(liver and lungs) absolutely delicious but very rich. Our ancestors used every pet of the pig…from the “Rooter to the Tooter”

    Lewis is good but it is not SC barbecue. You really need to experience it. 4 different sauces pepper vinegar mustard based heavy tomato light tomato Also SC barbecue hash (not a corned beef hash) which is unique to SC

    Is it close to the elevators. ? I know it’s interior as we got it for $100 a person.

    Not close to the port but the best seafood imho is across the bridge in Mr. Pleasant. The Wreck of the Richard and Charlene known locally as The Wreck. On Haddrell Street in Mt Pleasant BTW we live at the beach 80 miles north of Charleston and go fairly often.

    In 2008 we boarded at 1PM and then went into Old San Juan and had dinner and then reboarded

    While you have already cruised I would say leaving from Miami limits you as to what you can see or do. A 7 day cruise will usually hit 2 of the ABC islands and then have to head back. We used to sail out of San Juan but I think the number of ships has dropped. Out of San Juan we visited 6 ports on a 7 day cruise
