Oasis class is the best for us , with Allure our favorite as it doesnt have the big slides yet . Pricing is good too most likely because of age and not being amped yet . That is a bonus for us. 😃

Last place i would go to is Alaska . Not even for free . No interest at all . I just cruise for the ship now , so Florida is a good start point for me.

I booked one last year because it was about half price and we got double points x 2. Its just the two of us . Junior suites are more than we paid for the CL now.

Cancelling and re booking an Oasis class ship instead . lol 🙂 My least favorite class of ship but others love it . I like ships with a promenade . I was amused at the self leveling billiard table on the Serenade .

I always pick september to cruise. I recall it rained once in San Juan . And one other time the day before the cruise in florida . Been pretty lucky with the weather so far.

Why not get 2 connecting ocean view balcony cabins . Cost you much less and you get a door you can close when you want .

This was pre-covid . Couple of years ago was my last cruise . My error for not putting a timeline .

Good idea to pick your table . I never did when we went with early TD on our first cruises . We just took whatever they gave us . It worked out well as we met some great people to dine with . We then went with MTD as we didnt want to wait for others before we started dining. Those tables are so close together it was like a table for 6 as we always chatted with either table next to us, but didnt have to wait for them to be served. It was typically the same people too.

Wow , i took MTD for at least the last 6-7 cruises and strolled in the dining room at 6 pm every day , never a line up . This was oasis class ships. I snagged a half price deal last September on a suite so i get costal kitchen for my upcoming cruise . Seems i dodged a bullet . Hope this get this mess fixed soon. I wont wait in line . I will consider early fixed seating in the dining room next time .

I got a boardwalk balcony once for the novelty , first time on the Oasis . We had ocean views out the back of the ship. I booked outside ocean view balcony cabins ever since .

This wasnt recent , it was a couple of years ago . I guess they are finished by now . 😁

We flew into Newark and boarded the Anthem to Bermuda . There was construction everywhere and took over an hour to get to the pier . Then the Atlantic was rough , so i said never again . But since they placed the Oasis over there now , who knows . Enjoy your cruise , Its one of my favorite ships.

Yes , you win 😃 I wont go to Port Canaveral as i dont want the road trip from Orlando Airport so i fly to the other two airports. There are definite advantages living in Florida if you like to cruise. And you dont need to shovel snow .😂

Us too . It takes less time to book a cruise as you dont have to sift through the other offerings with other class of ships . We only look at sailings out of Fort Lauderdale or Miami. Narrows it down pretty good.🙂

I thought i would like this class , went on one cruise and back to Oasis class. Newark airport was only a one hour flight too.

I just paid my final billing on line this week and got an email confirmation within a half hour . I got an email alerting me i had to pay before month end . Seems to have worked fine for me.

I had a connecting cabin once , rookie mistake but i didnt hear anything . Guess our neighbors were as respectful as we were . I wouldnt do it again though . The other thing to watch out for is those extended balconies that have the lifeboats underneath them , thinks its deck 7 ? They weren`t that good . Radiance class isnt for me .

Voyager of the seas was our first cruise and got us hooked . Tried Freedom class and liked that even better. Then the Serenade ... no promenade , not going back on that class . Then came Oasis class , and we havent cruised any other class since. Would we cruise Voyager , i dont think i could go back after Oasis class.🙂

Booked the Riverside , on Las Olas Blvd . I usually fly in the day of the cruise but decided not to wake up at 2 am for the early flight and go the day before. Always wanted to see las Olas Blvd anyway , so i booked a Tower suite . Pricier , but its newer than the original part of the hotel.

I used the bionic bar when it was first introduced , cant remember what ship , But it was for the novelty . I dont even watch it make drinks now . Waste of space in my opinion.

Flight is 10:35 am . I procrastinated on whether to fly out early the day of , but wasnt keen on getting up at 2 am . So when we finally decided to go a day early the flight had doubled in price. I was looking at $ 700 for the both of us several months ago to $1432 now. You snooze , you lose .🙂 You are correct in the early flights creating kaos , as they tell you to get there 3 hours early , so people show up around 3 am and the airport employees dont start until after 5 am . I will always take a later flight the day before from now on , as i am retired and dont get out out bed at those ungodly hours for those same day flights. Cheers !
