  1. Sneaking in at 5am this morning...😁
  2. I'm sure that Perspective Studio portrait isn't cheap! Looking at those screen grabs In my post I now see some sort of traffic cone looking thing in the middle of the medivac dot, so that explains that. 👍
  3. Watched the Norwegian Bliss bridge cam as she neared the turnaround point of Endicott Arm, looks amazing! What's the Red Carpet for?
  4. This may be a crazy ask, but do you remember if there is cell phone service here? Thought maybe it would be a good place to post cruise updates without using the ships Wi-Fi.
  5. Had my FAS Unlimited Open Bar beverage packages removed from both segments of my 2025 B2B. Travel agent called and there were no problems at all.
  6. It's quite literally my first time really ever paying attention to NCL, and what their ships do. 😉 Been focused on Alaska (again) since booking my 2025 repositioning cruise back in January. Find it all quite fascinating. 😁
  7. I'm sure this happens all the time. Norwegian Encore arrived about an hour early today into Juneau, Norwegian Bliss still docked at the AJ Dock. But it was quickly vacated as Bliss backed out on-time and Encore slipped right in before the berth could get cold. It was cool to watch on the Juneau webcams. 😁
  8. Me, an old Quartermaster Navy veteran who smiled at this, brought back a lot of old memories. 🥰
  9. I think maybe the singular exception for Juneau that's sold as an NCL Excursion is the Goldbelt Tram, which is basically an 'access ticket' that can be used at any time - "Tickets allow unlimited rides throughout the day and reservations are not required."
  10. Has anyone been to Icy Straight Point this season yet that might be able to provide any updates to the video?
  11. Totally agree. As for post-cruise, remember to always allow plenty of time to get your rental car dropped off, transfer to the departures terminal, and for check-in and TSA clearance. Once you've back-tracked that clock 😉 you'll know how much 'free time' you'll have.
  12. I've never not arrived a day or two ahead of time! There's a huge weight off of your shoulders when you're already there that morning when you wake up and not 1000 miles away standing in an airport check-in line. Depending on your interests, Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center could be lots of fun. With any extra time left over, there's a Titanic museum about 30 minutes from the airport.
  13. Enjoy your cruise! I watched her leave yesterday on the PTZtv Port Canaveral webcam.
  14. I guess the one saving grace is that I will only be 'visiting' and won't have to deal with the embarkation/debarkation aspect. Ruby Princess will be there that day as well on her turnaround day. I cruised her way back in 2012, so it'll be kind of nice seeing her again from our top decks. She leaves at 5pm, and I'll have to try and make sure I'm somewhere where I can take pictures of her leaving.
  15. I was checking out the Marine Traffic app today and saw Grand Princess docked way down at Pier 80. I'm sure they have it pretty well set up by now, but that's gotta be an absolute mess. I was stationed in the Bay Area for several years back in the mid-80s, my ship was home-ported out of Concord but we also spent a lot of time at the old Oakland Naval Air Station and Mare Island. It's probably been 25 years since the last time I was out there. Very much looking forward to that day where I get to spend digging up old memories.
  16. I was reading on one of the Carnival boards this morning that disembarkation on one ship had been delayed well past 9am due to a fire alarm going off in the terminal, causing the terminal to be evacuated. I would never risk an early-morning flight.
  17. I think that once all passengers have disembarked on April 1st Norwegian Jade will leave Miami and make a bee-line for Tampa, probably arriving sometime mid-day on April 2nd. It will give them plenty of time to board stores and get prepared for the repositioning. And this could be a good thing.
  18. I'm not seeing any gaps in the new March 2025 schedule that would facilitate this per @chengkp75
  19. i had asked some of these same questions earlier this year, start around Post #6014 Page 241 (hopefully this link will get you there).
  20. Well, not all at once of course lol. 😉 Maybe over the course of 25- or 32-nights, and spread the costs out a bit. We each treat ourselves in different ways on our own cruises. I did the same on my last cruise with Royal Caribbean, they have a lovely patisserie. It made for a charming treat.
  21. Since it's another 11 months away and per @sfpd3000 Pier 35 should re-open after the dredge work, hoping Pier 30/32 is a last option. Per NCL we are there from 7am-9pm coming in from LA (and points south from the Panama Canal) then leaving for Astoria (and Alaska-bound).
  22. I’m curious about April 2025 when the Norwegian Jade visits. Ruby Princess will be there on a turn-around day, will Pier 35 be where we go?
