  1. Once an M-class veranda cabin is revolutionized, the sofa is gone. There's a silly chair-and-a-half. Doesn't look too strange in the regular veranda cabins, which are smaller, but the CC and AQ cabins ended up with a great big "empty." Really dumb. I'm looking forward to the Infinity in July.
  2. Another option for the room service turkey club is to order it sans bread and put the fixins on top of a salad (I usually order it x2 for more protein). Pretty good balcony lunch.
  3. I canceled this year's European trip because of the test-to-fly-home requirement, especially rigid from Italy, but am still willing to drive to short cruises out of Florida. Would have loved to book the Greek islands Cruise with the CEO cruise except for the pesky return test thing. Hoping it's gone in time for next year's TA.....and that there will BE a next year for the cruise lines.
  4. I'm so sorry. Thank you for letting us know.
  5. If they're refundable, then cancel, take the refund and control things yourself. If nonrefundable, hang on for the bumpy ride. Looks like you're flying Christmas week = you can absolutely plan on more changes. I've gotten to the airport the week before Christmas and faced an oversold flight which included my seats. Now I only book first class for the holidays. Still not a guarantee but better odds at least. BTW, my Christmas flights this year have already changed twice since February.
  6. The only roll call you've posted on is the Beyond for this coming December. If that's the cruise for these flights, you may certainly cancel them with Flights by Celebrity without penalty. Have you made final payment for the entire cruise amount already? It isn't due for quite awhile. If you've only made a deposit, you aren't necessarily ticketed unless you paid the airline ticket price in full (depends on the airline's rules). Did you prepay the full price of the flights already? If not, even if you get the seats you want on a flight you want, you're going to be facing this for a few more months until you pay for your cruise and flights in full. You'd need to pay for your tickets immediately if you book directly with Delta, but you'd be in control if/when the flights change again. BTW, I don't trust airlines to notify me of time/seat/equipment changes so I check my flights/seats each morning on my phone app.
  7. No, not on Reflection. I've always had to rely on an external battery so I could charge my phone on the nightstand rather than using a charger on the desk. I recharge the external battery while I'm out and about during the day.
  8. A close friend and her neighbor have both had it three times, most recently on their Princess Hawaii cruise in February, R/T out of San Diego. They got it the 4th day and never got to see Hawaii. My friend recovered quickly, her neighbor didn't and is suffering from long-covid and on oxygen. Princess didn't give them the refund option either, only FCC (and the neighbor says she'll never cruise again). For a couple of weeks I've been chewing over the risk associated with long flights and precruise sightseeing in Italy. Kind of difficult for my sister to see the Vatican without a crowd. So today, we just decided to skip this year's usual fall TA and substitute a 2-week land vacation instead, probably Cape Cod. If Italy eases up on their draconian covid rules AND the testing requirement for return flight to the US is dropped, I'll definitely reconsider next year. BTW, in canceling the TA, I forfeit the value of my comped zenith cruise (use it within a yr from date you reach zenith; can't be moved out any further). Bummer.
  9. Depends on length of cruise and category. C1 on Constellation, 12-night, Nov 2023. No perks $4368, AI $5368. I opted for no perks. Edit: C1 gratuities $192 ($16/day).
  10. I suspect X is testing the waters to see if this does increase bookings. Enough takers, they might keep some variation as an option going forward. Since Asia is off the table, the European market is super-saturated with ships and not enough pax willing to risk a flight.
  11. Intend to use a non-proctored test first so I can at least tweak a plan (less expensive hotel, AirBNB, nearby groceries, etc.) before it's official.
  12. I guess I feel sympathy for you and the situation in which you find yourself (maybe not empathy, however). I reluctantly had to cancel my spring TA because I felt there was too much Omicron risk. Only have ~9 weeks remaining before I have to decide again if the risk for an October TA is too great.
  13. I bought my shares nearly 20 years ago and the OBC has paid for it many times over; I like to think of it as a nontaxable dividend.
  14. Assuming people continue to book or don't cancel. I don't see X obtaining 95% right now. A lot of chatter on multiple platforms (TPG, FB, cruising newsletters, here, etc) about quarantining, riding buses, canceling, delaying. When people are talking about such things, booking numbers are are going to be affected, whether or not anyone posts about it directly. Heck, X is offering PUPs for booking a shore excursion. That's telling. I'm glad I still have 10 weeks remaining before I have to make final payment for my Oct TA.
  15. Thanks for the info. Just added it to my travel Evernote file so I'll have quick access to it should the need arise when overseas. Today, I'm researching quite a few quick-access contingency options. Gotta "be prepared."
  16. I suspect they're wanting to see how much business they can drum up with points that don't really cost them revenue. Discounts may have to come eventually. Lots of chatter about not wanting to be on buses.
  17. There's a shuttle from YVR to SEA which I've used numerous times because I could get better flights out of SEA with points. It's still running.
  18. I got the same offer for the Constellation TA. I'll pass. Definitely not into shore excursions where I'm part of a herd.
  19. I had mostly Louis Jadot Steel chardonnay and Cherry Tart pinot noir in both the MDR and Luminae. They never ran out and a few times a couple of bottles were delivered to my cabin from F&B Manager. In the past, I've upgraded to premium just for the brands of scotch. Premium package works better for me.
  20. $250 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 14 or more nights.  $100 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 6-13 nights.  $50 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 5 nights or less
  21. This is the Refund and Cancellation Policy for Covid-19 for Celebrity. Contact them ASAP.
