I know no one can definitively answer this but I’m putting it out there any way. One of the included perks for our upcoming September cruise in thePremier package is Prizes. Yet, the website says the prizes are good through July 31st. Anybody care to speculate if the prizes will end or if the will be revamped beginning August 1st? I know we are the minority but we did win $500 of OBC last year on our Med. cruise

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency last year but I would not recommend. The hotel was nice but the service from the bell service just stood and watched us struggle with luggage and not say a word to offer help

Not the $1700 difference on a cruise we were looking at and we love aqua class

I know larger room or larger balcony? The mini suite balcony is fully covered but smaller. I’m just wanting someone to tell me what to do and then if I don’t like it I can blame it on the internet 😆

Sailing on Discovery Sept. 10th. Have an opportunity to upgrade from a premium balcony to a mini suite for $120 total. Should I or would you? Would be giving up a larger balcony on the aft for a larger room in a mini suite. The other question is it's a guaranteed mini suite. Are the any really bad mini suites?

We’ve cruised on Beyond and yes the spa are was much larger than the solstice class ships. We were just wondering since the Edge class ships have smaller dining venues if not booking aqua class was something we might miss. The aqua perks of bygone days are no longer.

We’ve sailed Aqua class exclusively (elite status) but the price has gotten exorbitant. The cruise I was watching raised the aqua class rooms over $1000 this week. My question is to those that sailed aqua before and now sail regular veranda. Do you regret not sailing aqua? The cruise we are looking at is on an edge class ship. My thought is that since the edge class ships do not have the large dining rooms then Blu doesn’t carry as much sway as before for us. What’s other people’s thoughts that may have done both and did you miss the aqua class amenities?

We have an 11:47 return flight from Seattle on the 17th of September. We have booked a car service, plan on self disembarking and have TSA pre check. We are also using our American Express card to get CLEAR service paid for since we have already registered for this. If you aren’t familiar with this service CLEAR device scans your eyes and then a rep escorts you to the front of the TSA line even the pre check line.

We are sailing on Discovery on the 10th of September. I had already picked our arrival time on the app but checking this morning it shows no arrival time chosen. So I guess they’ve updated the new policy that goes into affect in August.

It always amazes me how threads can take on a life of their own and the conversation completely change from the original post. Not complaining just making an observation

Since the announcement of the glacier nit allowing anymore visitors after reaching its max amount does anyone want to put forth a quest if this affects helicopter tours. We already booked and paid for one through Princess for the 13th of September and would like to go ahead and know if it’s going to be cancelled too.

If visitors are being limited, wouldn’t that affect all means of transportation getting there. It reads to me that after reaching a certain number of visitors then no one will allowed in

That is probably what we will do on our next cruise but what is the incentive to actually book while on board? I’m confused about your comment

It was a little over that with each of us getting $250 plus I think a smaller one. It was our first Princess cruise so we didn’t actually realize it until I checked our account. We were able to suffer through and spend it though.

We did 10 days on Island last year and won over $500 in OBC. Maybe beginners lick but it was nice

Thank you for a first hand answer. I seriously doubt we would drink the fifteen drinks especially on port days. If everything was equal with another cruise line then the limit would be a determining factor as to which cruise line.

The original question asked did Princess limit you to 15 alcoholic drinks whether on the package or purchasing like someone stated about Carnival. All of Celebrity’s drink package are unlimited up to each package drink max. It is not limited to 15 alcoholic drinks as Princess is. I’m aware that other than alcoholic drinks are not limited. Celebrity’s is unlimited in all including can sodas and the large bottles of water on the top package.

When you book comparable trips with Princess and Celebrity to include the equal packages they are each approximately $600 over the cruise only price. And yes Celebrity’s drinks are unlimited with the caveat that obviously over indulgent can be cut off at bartenders discretion and not the number 15 count

I consider Princess and Celebrity to be mid market lines and yes Celebrity does not limit alcoholic drinks to 15. I have sailed celebrity often and can attest to not seeing obnoxious drunks in spite of the non limit with both lines catering to the same clientele. Please don’t tell me to sail celebrity then as I probably will but I like Princess also
