  1. Be careful booking on the website today. It is giving totals that are incorrect. It’s saying the total includes “all included” when it’s actually cruise only. This is happening to me when I go back and change the room and the final, page shows all included but when you choose a courtesy hold the all included disappears.
  2. I Think I figured out the reason you can’t get on the ship is the US and then go back and get something is that technically you’ve left the United States and there is no customs officials to clear you.
  3. I have an upcoming cruise in aqua and I could bid all the way to royal.
  4. I do too. It’s amazing google can find it in the billions of pages and the search on this page for this forum can’t.
  5. Has anybody had to get off the ship on original embarkation day after checking in? For example I left something in the car that’s needed. Would I just get off and get back on using the sea pass card
  6. I was wondering as I've never done a B2B cruise about leaving the ship on the turn around day. When thinking of this question it also made me wonder about leaving the ship on initial embarkation day. We've always just gotten on the ship on the first day and enjoyed it but I was wondering if something arose and we forgot something could we leave like any other port and get it and get back on the ship? Also on turn around day I'm assuming we could disembark like the other travelers and come back through regular check in but could we also go through the process the ship does for taking the group off the ship and bringing them back on? The port is Port Everglades in Florida not an European port.
  7. We were able to the last time we were in a suite (June 2022) but i know how quickly things change
  8. Don’t shoot me for asking this question that has been asked a lot of times but the search feature does not allow you to do a Boolean search to narrow down the results. On Solstice class ships since Luminae is next to main dining are you still able to order from the main dining menu? Just wondering since Celebrity has lowered so many amenities (except prices) was just wondering if the cut that from the cruising experience. I know it not realistic to ask in the Edge class ships since the dining rooms are on separate floors
  9. Update: The system allowed me this morning to upgrade our classic drink package to premium so maybe it’s all correct now. I will still check it periodically to make sure though
  10. I booked online. I checked the next day and everything was fine. Later that same day it went crazy. No package just cruise only and the price was $2500 more and it charged my card even when earlier and at booking it showed zero balance. It seems to be straightened out now but I’m checking periodically. The people I spoke with seemed really perplexed about it since it made no sense at all.
  11. Not if you place the head and horns over the fireplace
  12. But…. I had paid in full and they charged my credit card for the fictitious difference. They are going to credit it back but I didn’t authorize it and that really bothers me
  13. Just did a mock booking on the Reflection for March 10th. A suite guarantee for two people was $4900. Not too bad but a suite guarantee for one person was $10,000. I’d make up a name and book two and just say the other person is checking in later. That’s ridiculous
  14. This is my first time booking directly and the only reason was I had to act quickly. With a travel agent I wouldn’t worry about it as much. I still can’t upgrade the drink package though
  15. Warning Long Read Always check your account. We found a good deal (at least in my opinion) January 20th evening on an aqua class cabin sailing on the Reflection on March 10th. Booked it and paid in full for fare, classic, drinks, and WiFi. Went online on the 21st to upgrade classic package to premium. It wouldn’t let me do it online so I called. The person I spoke to online said I didn’t have any package. Of course I disagreed and upon looking close the whole thing changed to no package and they charged me almost $2400 that I did not authorize. At that rate I could’ve booked a full suite for less. The lady on the phone was very helpful and transferred me to the department that could check on it. The rep there was able to see the original booking and the included packages but for some unknown reason it was all gone and they changed it to the higher rate. I will state now that the aqua class room was obviously the last one because when I looked again after the original booking there were no more available. Back to story. The rep was able to get in touch with the resolutions department and got it back to the correct amount. I do have multiple screenshots and pdf copies of invoice but I also know they can always say it was a mistake and refund my money which is okay ( not happy but ok) I will make sure everything is accurate before I book non refundable hotel and thankfully we can drive to the port. I hope this helps someone.
  16. I booked through a travel agent and they said I could but I’m not taking a chance on buying non refundable gift cards and then being denied
  17. Thanks for the info. Just read the terms and it can only be used for new bookings. I’m glad I saw this because I was just about to buy enough to pay our cruise off and I would’ve been stuck with a lot useless gift cards. Also, if I read it right you can’t even use them for purchases on the cruise. Is that right?
  18. I was just looking around and. Decided to price an eight day cruise on Reflection for this December. I looked a a guarantee veranda for two people and cruise only rate was $2475.35. When I chose the “all inclusive rate” for two people it was $5715.75. What am I missing here. Isn’t the classic drink package $89 per day and the WiFi $20 per day? If im right that is approximately $110 per day or $880 for the eight days and that only adds $1960 to the whole price which should be $4435. That’s a $1300 difference. Are my calculations correct or has Celebrity gone crazy?
  19. “I never once had a hot meal” That was our biggest complaint about our recent cruise on Discovery.
  20. I “think” it’s each day or at least the sea days. If I’m wrong I will report back. It did seem like it was an everyday thing this week. That‘s my thinking thus that’s why I’m bothered about it. I haven’t sailed a Princess ship that has the casual dining venues so I’m not sure if they are open on port days.
  21. This is our second cruise. Currently on the Sept 10 - 17 Discovery Alaska cruise. We purchased the premier package so the new charges didn’t really affect us so I haven’t said anything but today I kinda have a gripe. So they started charging for Salty Dog gastro pub and those with the premier package it’s included. And this is touted as an included benefit of the package. So we went today for lunch to partake of this included perk only to find that for lunch now it’s the Crab shack or something and the included perk is only during dinner hours. As everyone knows that is a $29.99 per person cover charge. My opinion it’s another way to get more money but it should be held in a different venue and not taking away from something I’ve already paid for. And yes I know I can go at dinner but dinner is not a time we want to partake of “casual dining”. I’m not here to debate and everyone has an opinion so I just here to vent and let others know what to expect.
  22. We are planning on sharing dishes at Sabatini’s
