Discovery. I’m assuming it’s still there since I have a reservation there for next week

Those that have sailed which restaurant would you recommend. I’ve got a reservation next eeek already made for Bistro Sur La Mer but am having second thoughts. Which one did you like and why?

Has Anybody stayed in these suites can give me what’s available in the Family Harbor lounge. Someone said soft drinks were available and I wanted to confirm if this was true. Any information will be greatly appreciated

I booked it and got the confirmation email. I’ve had the regular Wi-Fi in the past and it worked ok until at night when everyone was back onboard. The cruise isn’t until October 2024 on Beyond. I will save the emailed receipt

It let me book it for 3.99 per person per day

1. First question is: is it worth it to upgrade to premium Wi-Fi? 2. upgrade 1 device is $3.99 per day 3. Upgrade 2 devices is $26.99 per day What is up with that pricing difference?

Dispute with credit card company that usually gets their attention

They’re trying to create new revenue which I totally understand. The correct thing to do is create new revenue opportunities not by charging for previously included options. Charging for previously included items such as cookies, room service, extra lobster, etc is just being lazy. Create new experiences and charge for them. I’m not a carnival fan but they created a new roller coaster and charge for it. Stop watering down the experience and give the customer what he/she paid for and give them something extra they want to pay for. The specialty restaurant concept works so create new experiences that people are willing and glad to pay extra for.

Will be on Discovery but our cabin is an aft cabin so getting forward might not be feasible

Did you use self disembarking?

We will be arriving back in Seattle on the 17th of September. We are arriving on Princess at pier 91 and have a 11:47 am flight at SeaTac. We are planning on self disembarking. Is Seattle Express a good option. What is the first departure time for them? I don’t want to sit on a bus for an hour waiting for it to fill up. We have a private car reserved but it’s a lot more. Should we switch to Seattle Express? What times have other people used it and gotten to the airport?

Thanks I will wait until onboard. It’s only two weeks. My fear is we accidentally leave them at home and the we have to book another cruise to use them. 😂

I want to use gift cards to purchase OBC prior to cruise departure. There’s no place on the website that gives the option to use gift cards. Is there another way?

We had the same problem last year on the island Princess. Every night drinks from the dining room would appear on our folio. I had to go every day and get it removed.

Gotten off many times in Ft. Lauderdale and I didn’t fly but I’ve driven and can say I was close to Daytona by 11:30 and I didn’t do self luggage

Is it worth visiting this even though we arrive late and it’s dark?

I did this exact thing last year. Other cruise lines I’ve sailed won’t let you or charge a fee.

If the butler was like our last butler in a sky suite, we wouldn’t miss him. Any time we asked him for anything his response was call the room steward. We’ve only had a butler twice so not sure if we were spoiled by our first one or was the second one the new norm. Either way unless the prices make an economic correction we won’t be sailing in suites. We would prefer to sail multiple weeks in another cabin vs one week in a sky suite

Please don’t be mad at me for this as I’m sure it’s been answered but the other thread is well over 50 pages long. This pertains to the new charges for casual dining. This is our second Princess so we are still rookies. We are sailing on Discovery on September the 10 with the premier package. I know we get these casual dining as part of the package but here’s the question. Does the package only include the prix fee or can you order ala Carte such as sushi in Ocean Terrace?

Please don’t get too mad at me for not searching for this answer because it’s probably been answered before. I’m more familiar with Celebrity but this will be just our second Princess cruise. If you order a drink that’s above the allotted amount for the package you purchased are you charge the full amount or just the difference plus tips?

Prizes are still there but a lot of other stuff is there now. 😵‍💫
