  1. I posted this on the departures page but there is not as much activity there as it is here. So if it’s gets deleted by moderators then I will understand. I’ve always parked at the port when traveling out of port Everglades but this time I’ve decided to try park n go. I’ve made the reservations but have some questions about the procedure. I know I leave my key and they take us to the ship. But here’s my questions. 1. how long before they take you to the ship? Do they wait until they get a bus load? I understand if they have a lot dropping off loading as many as possible but I don’t want to be sitting on a bus waiting. 2. Do they have a route they run to the ships? For example terminal 1 then 2 then 3 etc or to the persons ship directly? I know those may not the right numbers but just examples. 3. About how long has it taken to drop off and get to your ship? 4. I was thinking about dropping my luggage at the ship with my wife and the taking the car to the lot. Is that a good idea or should we both go back with the car?

  4. I just receive the email today for March 10th cruise. The only thing is we got a move up bid and won’t be in aqua class. Here’s a screenshot of your choices.

  6. I’m a numbers person so I compared old invoice to new one. The new invoice included the original cabin costs plus the move up bid along with the new grats charge. They then subtracted what I had already paid including my previously paid grats and billed my credit card. I printed out all of my previous purchases of the original all included classic drinks and basic WiFi and receipts for upgrading just to make sure.
  7. Thank you. I had a.ready prepaid the gratuities for aqua class and was wondering about the difference. I also pre paid the upgrade on the drinks and WiFi now I’m worried that will somehow get cancelled because Celebrity’s IT department is horrible.
  8. If you get a move up offer accepted into a suite, how are pre paid gratuities done? Are the recalculated to the new amount? The example would be from aqua class to sky suite

  11. I really wasn’t attacking anyone and apologize if it seemed that way. My real thought was the company using the excuse of a large group for not giving anyone the service they paid for. I understand a large group may utilize a certain venue but there are usually plenty of other places to enjoy. It should never be an excuse for lower standard service in the stateroom or other personal areas
  12. Thank you. I was hoping it didn’t sound like I was attacking the poster. I hate when people do that and I’ve even started calling people out for it. Keyboard cowards really bother me especially when they try to call people out for their experience.
  13. It is not my intention to be mean as I’m not trying to argue with you so please don’t take it as that. But my first thought in reading this is I’m part of a big group too (everyone on the cruise is part of a big group) so that is not an excuse nor should it be. It’s like a teacher saying they have 30 other students. I’m not concerned about every other groups of people, I’m concerned about getting the service I paid for and when everyone starts demanding it then Celebrity will have to respond accordingly. And by demanding it I mean take the money somewhere else.
  14. Thanks so much for this detail. We are the other type of people we don’t want a slower pace we want a somewhat quicker pace. Not a speed dinner but not 15 to 25 minutes between courses either
  15. Pulled from the website today. I’m going to be on the reflection in a few weeks and probably won’t request it but I do expect it. Maybe if more people insist n what they purchased then maybe they will be forced to do what they say. I sound really brave online and probably won’t enforce it but I’m also the type of person that will not take no when the person can’t say yes in the first place. We all pay way too much for a suite and I expect to get what I pay for. And don’t tell me the website is wrong and blame it on the IT department. I relate it to the price on the shelf must be the same price at the register and if it’s not then give the advertised price
  16. And the price is three or four times the price back 20 years ago and I’m not talking 2024 dollars
  17. The level of service on Celebrity is so much better. It’s as simple to us as the sommelier allowing you to taste the wine before pouring instead of the waiter just handing you a glass of wine which took a long time to get to the table. Lots of other things. The only thing good I can say about Princess is no room service charge if you buy the top tier package but if you don’t you have to pay a $15 fee to use the app
  18. Make sure you keep up with it. They charged me $2384 the day after I booked our cruise and paid in full. Not only did they charge me but they billed my credit card. I called and got it straightened out and it took a few days to get my credit back to the card. Fast forward several weeks and I look at the reservation and it just appeared again and said if I didn’t pay it my cruise would be cancelled. Called again and they took care of it. I’ve got several emails showing a zero balance yet for some reason it keeps dropping my state rate and charging me again. So this was long but make sure you keep up with it because if I had not caught it I would’ve showed up to board and it would’ve been too bad for me because they would’ve sold my room to someone else
  19. I feel like giving a tip to a “butler” that I never see is the same as the Maitre d that shows up on the last night wanting a tip when he/she hasn’t even spoken to us all cruise. I want the money to go to the person that provided the service. Getting paid for doing nothing promotes incompetence
  20. I’m afraid if they were to tell me to do that I would have to ask in return then what do you actually do to deserve that daily gratuity?
  21. Princess allows smoking in casino. If the smoke stayed in the casino then no problem but you can’t even walk on that floor without it being overwhelming. There are a lot of reasons Celebrity over Princess but that’s one and we never had a hot meal on Princess.
  22. Even if you’re flying out of Miami you won’t need to do walk off. If you leave the boat by 9:00 you’ll be there in plenty of time
  23. Are you saying if you do the move up upgrade to a suite that you are not entitled to eat in Luminae?
