    2025 Booking

By wonky, I meant the way add-ons, SBC/OBC, beverage packages, etc, are listed on the website seems a bit convoluted to me, especially since the b2b details were separated out by cruise but combined under one booking number. However, they are all correct, once you figure it out. The paper invoice is equally bizarre and these details are presented in a completely different way. You have to read between the lines to figure it out. My TA is trying to get clarification on whether we are reading between the lines correctly.
  2. That's what I think. Folks some times forget that when upgrading to BIZ air with O, you are also paying for the included economy fare, and don't get a credit for it.
  3. Is the the amount Oceania charged, over and above the cost of the cruise with air, or does this price include the cost of economy air that is bundled into the cruise with air that you lose when you book Business with Oceania?
  4. There's a wide gap between "dressing up" and wearing jeans with a T-shirt. To me, a simple, clean shirt with a collar (i.e. not a T-shirt) and a nice pair of Dockers doesn't seem like dressing up.

    2025 Booking

Thanks for posting this. We were booked on an around Iceland Intensive to NYC via Greenland and Canada in July 2025, but this b2b itinerary is far better. And we love Dublin. Our TA booked us on this Azamara b2b, today. The invoice is a bit wonky, but our TA is getting clarification, although her contact assures her it's all OK. However, the cruise on our online account is correct, but lacks the specific OBC amounts. Any interest in starting a Roll Call for the b2b?
  6. The SM package is restricted to dining venues and doesn’t include orders in any of the lounges or bars, if that was what you were thinking. It's the same as the House Select package, but with more options on the menu. But maybe you were referring to the wine by the glass menu in a restaurant.
  7. Let us know. Some folks said they called several times before they got an O agent who "was in the know." Seems like a pain. But we have always used a TA, who got us straight answers from their dedicated agent rep, if there were any answers, so we have had no experience dealing with O directly.
  8. What about O She Anna? I've heard that many times.
  9. There have been many posts on multiple threads saying that the reps at O are often clueless.
  10. Interesting. But since you got a March deal, you are probably right that it wouldn't be any savings. Is your TA one of the Oceania specialists, like a Connoisseur Club?
  11. Well, I switched to SimplyMore and repriced for the Summer Sale. I didn't have to rebook. I believe others have posted that they were able to, also, even when everything was waitlisted.
  12. Does that mean your cruise is not one on the Summer Sale list? Being sold out shouldn't disqualify you from taking advantage of the sale.
  13. There may be a difference between an FCCertificate bought on board, and an FCCredit for a cancelled cruise. Fortunately, I have never been in a situation where I don’t have my eye on a future cruise 🧐.
  14. Amen! Too many on social media, CC included, have an automatic knee-jerk reaction of "conspiracy," and speculate without any facts.
  15. Your experience is worth a lot. It's a solid data point. Thanks.
  16. Depends upon which package. The basic Select package (whether as part of OLife or SimplyMore) covers wine and beer (and champagne, under SimplyMore) only in restaurants during dining hours. The Prestige package covers all alcoholic beverage (some exceptions apply) in all venues ship wide any time.
  17. You are not required to change your booking from your original OLife promotion to the new SimplyMore promotions. If you are happy with what you have booked and don’t see a benefit from SimplyMore, don’t change. I don’t understand your comment that you are required to pay gratuities from SBC. I unaware of any such restriction under either OLife or SimplyMore. Is this a TA requirement?
  18. Sorry, I didn't mean to exclude the others that benefit from the daily gratuity. I was simply trying to explain that the bar staff is among those who don't benefit from them, and that gratuity on drinks is meant for them. Thanks for the information about the "cruisers bible."
  19. Actually the specialty restaurants are included for Club Continent and above. Not for Veranda Plus and below.
  20. Privee and La Reserve are not really specialty restaurants. They are dining experiences that can be arranged and paid for.
  21. I believe that the bar gratuity goes to the bar staff. That's because the daily gratuity goes only to the housekeeping and restaurant staff (the butler gets the add on).
  22. A pair of socks counts as 1 item.
