  1. Thanks! It's good to know what points level you need to be at to receive the better offers. We were always Jade and never got very good offers from CAS. We've been sailing mostly with Royal the past couple of years and have learned that more points equals better offers. We're looking forward to our NCL cruise next month to see if we can get back on the CAS radar.

  4. We sailed on Allure last week. The Crown Lounge concierge was Chantelle Wright.
  5. We were in 12512 last year (Family Suite w/o Balcony), with a separate tub and shower.
  6. If I reserve the Izumi sushi lunch will I be restricted to the prix-fixe menu or can I order a la carte? I'd rather have two 8-piece rolls than an appetizer, two half rolls and dessert.
  7. The bartender will swipe your SeaPass card and print out a slip with the total price of $0.00. At the bottom of the slip it will show how many of your voucher drinks have been used: 1 of 4, 2 of 4, etc.

  9. There will be a list of restrictions provided (usually new ships and cruises over Christmas & New Years). For Prime it is a free interior for up to 7 nights. As mentioned previously, the offer appears in your Club Royale account around mid-April and you can pay to upgrade above an interior cabin.
  10. We received the Port/Air Tax Credit (about $12 each) on our Mariner cruise last month. We didn't miss any ports.
  11. We just sailed on Mariner of the Seas on Oct 21 out of Terminal 5. They had staff standing at the bottom of the ramp with handheld devices taking payment as you entered the garage.
  12. The phone number in @Cloverpk Jackpot! screenshot is for Casino reservations. Your offer doesn't look like a casino offer. Sorry, I don't have an explanation.
  13. When you see the search results, do you see anything when you click on My Offers? We saw the notice because we had a casino offer that we applied.
  14. It's a casino offer. Some offers can be used directly on the Royal Caribbean site. It's just telling you that if you want to upgrade you can call and they'll quote you the casino upgrade price.
  15. We are Diamond and only use the lounge in the morning for coffee & pastries (our second breakfast, lol). We like to sit and read in the morning, but don't mind doing that elsewhere if it's too crowded. We don't use the lounge in the evenings since we go to the early dinner. If morning access is taken away, I hope that Royal will provide daily specialty coffee vouchers on our SeaPass cards as an alternative. Not a big deal though if they don't.
  16. We did a similar B2B in 2017 (Boston - Quebec City - Boston). No issues. Same cabin both legs so no need to pack at the end of the first cruise! It was one of our favorite cruises...enjoy!
  17. Ship - Serenade of The Seas Deck - 9 Stateroom # - 9260 Stateroom Category – Spacious Oceanview Balcony Starboard or Port Side - Aft Quiet Stateroom? Yes Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Huge balcony with gorgeous aft views. Was wind a problem? - No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - No Any specific problems with this cabin? - Just some difficulty getting the scooter into the cabin because of the narrow hallway (it took a few tries). Cabin 9258 would be a better option for scooter access as it's almost a straight line from the hallway into the cabin. Any other comments? - 1) My husband rented a small scooter for this cruise and it fit well in the cabin. He was able to turn it around in the cabin without any problems. 2) The main hallway doors (by the atrium) are closed at 9pm in the evenings due to loud music in the atrium. If you have mobility issues, it can be difficult or impossible to open the heavy door without assistance. 3) The hallway from the elevators to the aft cabins is quite long. I counted about 145 steps from the hallway entrance to our cabin.
  18. We stayed in 12702 on the Joy in 2019. We liked the layout of this Oceanview cabin better than the standard ones where the head of the bed is against the window. It felt more spacious.

  20. The Sun has the best Club Balcony cabins in the NCL fleet.
  21. The perks I listed are for a full Suite. The Club Balcony cabins do not receive the Suite benefits. I agree that the extra cost of the Club Balcony cabin is not worth it for the few additional perks over a Balcony cabin.
  22. I have also used the Libby app for years to download ebooks and audiobooks from my county library. I was on the Prima in January and used the app to connect to the Prima's library. I didn't download anything since I already had a couple of audiobooks for my 7-day cruise. So, I just checked the app on my phone and I can still see all the books in the Prima's library (weird, since I'm not onboard). There are 299 titles across 64 subjects (no audiobooks). This is a much smaller selection than what is available through my county's library.
