How does one book an Ocean View Cabin with Yacht Club privileges. Or, let's say, what cabins qualify for Yacht Club Privileges if you know? Very interesting, indeed.
Ocean view cabins in the Yacht Club start with a Deluxe Suite and up. A Deluxe Suite is about the size of a Junior Suite on other lines. There are also inside Yacht Club Suites. Typically they are the on the top few decks forward. The MSC website has a lot of information and pictures if you are interested.

The Yacht Club is an area separate from the rest of the ship. It has several size cabins. The Yacht Club has it's own restaurant, buffet, pool, and lounge. Drinks and many extras are included.

We took a tour right outside the ship in Bonaire in May. It was an island tour. Exactly the same as one offered through the ship without the shot of rum. Half the price. Great tour.
-
We use the form and always get a confirmation email. Supplies are in our cabin when we arrive.

On some cruise ships, during the process used to produce drinking water, the water is distilled. Maybe it is part of the process at MSC. A call or email to their headquarters may be in order to find out if MSC drinking water is distilled.

Same thing happened to us. Reclassified one of our 3 cabins. 3 person cabin, now becoming a 2 person cabin. Moving parents away from children. Our TA worked with them to get us 3 better cabins and some money back.

We originally sailed MSC because of the status match, price and discount. We returned because of the beauty and cleanliness of the ship, friendly officers, great pizza and other Italian food, International guests and fun.

Another cruise critic member has used a taxi. Her advice is to put your luggage in the taxi and get in it before you tell the driver where you want to go.
I know there used to be a shuttle but I don't know if it still runs. The trolley only goes to the last few terminals.

If possible, can you please report back on how it went when you return. We are considering doing the same thing in January and my mother, who is 73, is coming. She is pretty spry but may not be up to leaping over barriers hauling luggage.
If I do it, I will definitely report back. If it's too hot or rainy, I'll grab a taxi. Some others I know are taking a taxi.

Unless they've opened a sidewalk at terminal B to allow a straight path by the time you arrive, your walk will be closer to 1.5 miles from door to door if you need to walk around the construction. I just checked my GPS mileage from my last drive at the Port.
Thanks for the update. I don't mind the walk if it is nice weather. I may have to reconsider my plans.

I have a lot of time to kill so I thought I'd walk if it's possible. I only have one wheeled suitcase so that isn't a problem. Thanks for your replies.

Is it possible to walk from Terminal A(Royal Caribbean) to Terminal F(MSC)? If so, about how far apart are they?
Thank you.

Well, they are doing something to the staterooms - I just went to check the deck plan for deck 9, as that is where our cabins are, and the cabin I booked that supposedly has a sofabed no longer has one after the refurb. If you click back and forth between the two versions on the decks you can see the changes. As far as I can tell decks 9 and 10 are losing sofabed cabins, but decks 7, 8, 11, 12, and 14 are gaining sofabed cabins. Decks 3 and 6 look pretty much unchanged. I don't necessarily need the sofabed but I was hoping to have it as an option for my adult kids in case the separated twin beds were too small for them.
We had 2 cabins for 2 and a cabin for 3 booked on 9, for August, and it is now a cabin for 2. RC moved all 3 of our cabins to 11.

I have an American Airlines(Barclay Bank), Mastercard that allowed me to choose a pin when I applied for it early this year.

There is a 2nd overflow lot that we used before the parking deck was built.

I have an extra Serenade block. Would like to trade for Explorer, Anthem, Radiance, Adventure, Symphony, Oasis or Harmony.
Anyone interested?

What email address did you use?
I just emailed Crown and Anchor. Crownandanchor@rccl.com.

I sent an email and had a response and the OBC the same day. Did it beginning of June for an August cruise.

No parades on Adventure in April or May.

Marriott in Frenchman's Cove is nowhere near downtown
I know. But if it is $4 to go anywhere downtown, it shouldn't be much more to go to the Marriott.

We were there last month. There was no traffic. Took a regular taxi. $4 to go anywhere in town.

Yacht Club is a separate category. Within Yacht Club there are various types of cabins. It is possible that the Yacht Club is sold out for the cruise you are viewing. Only cabins on the Yacht Club decks are classified as Yacht Club. Cabins on other decks are either Bella, Fantastica or Aurea no matter what type cabin.
