  1. As suggested by @PTC DAWG I would talk with your room steward to confirm the dry cleaning as separate items. I would not include dry cleaning items in the same bag as the "wash & press" items as they may not get separated. They likely also have a separate fee scale.
  2. Celebrity is pretty much the opposite of RCCL and NCL (who are very similar and direct competitors). Those two line's primary demographics are families and their ship's amusement park style venues reflect that. Celebrity's primary demographics is adults 45+/- with a more sedate cruising atmosphere with none of those venues found on RCCL/NCL. You will find it IMO to be a relaxing, more traditional cruising atmosphere, with limited children on board.
  3. Likely none of the above. I don't think they are attempting to be a party ship. But the "E" class ship design and venue offerings (Magic Carpet, Eden, etc.) are certainly more upscale and unique than anything offered on "M" and even the "S" class ships. I just think those elements would attract a somewhat younger adult demographic IMO versus the more sedate designs of there other ships and as I mentioned previously the new ads reflect that. Again, JMO.
  4. Not quite. Celebrity's primary target demographics has traditionally been adults 50+. So the older ladies in the ad would certainly fit that. But in particular with the "E" class ships they are expanding that to more of a 40+/- demographic. But all ages have always sailed with Celebrity, including some families with children (hence the children's club programs) as well as older adults, and their ships' designs and on board atmosphere reflects the more adult, non-amusement park, intent. "E" class ships are a more vibrant upscale design and the ads are IMO intending to capture that.
  5. Good point and I think you are correct. Although I have seen them make the occasional ordered drinks using their top shelf brands
  6. Just a side note. The only real difference between the classic and premium packages is the quality and variety of brands. There is no limiting drink menu. Those often at the bars are mainly a suggestion of the ones featured at that bar. But any drink than can be made from the brands of alcohol within each package can be ordered, including your own recipes. We have done that several times.
  7. You were - I was just expanding. Sorry if I wasn't more clear acknowledging that as well.
  8. You can and will be denied boarding and face possible cruise banning penalties for any marijuana related product containing TCH or CBD, even in small quantities. Maybe not arrested for gummies, as I believe you are questioning, but very possibly for other related substances based on what it is and how much you have, regardless of the legality in your home state. IMO it is not worth the risk for any reason.
  9. With legalization by many states the cruise lines are at an elevated awareness regarding people attempting to bring it on board. As it is still prohibited by the Federal Government, that is the authority followed by the cruise lines. It is also banned with many ship's flag states and visited ports of call. In addition, most have it in their own rules and regulations as a prohibited item. Those caught attempting to bring it on board (in any manner, including by prescription) can and do face serious penalties which can include denied boarding and cruising bans. This is all rather well publicized.
  10. There really aren't last minute cruise deals as there may have been at one time years ago. And many cruise lines have 24 - 48 hour prior to sailing booking closings due to manifest requirements. But even if you could book late, most cruises are booking extremely strongly now and there may not be late availability of staterooms. And typically, I don't think they are being discounted as you may hope with fares likely reflecting the last published rate in the selling cycle for that given stateroom. Also typically, the earlier you book the better as most cruise lines earliest published prices are the lowest with the likelihood of price increases as the selling cycle continues. Also booking early usually allows the flexibility of protecting your fare from increases while allowing for it to be favorably repriced should the fare decrease after you book it.
  11. It isn't dependent on who you talk with as it is just based on available inventory within the assigned sub-category. But the original stateroom needs to be confirmed as assigned first before you can move it - which is the caveat. If they can't move it it's because there is no remaining available inventory in the assigned sub-category.
  12. Sorry. I just saw that and deleted my comment and changed it to #18 - you caught me as I was editing that! LOL
  13. Which as far as I'm concerned is the only one that matters.......LOL
  14. ...and a good point. I was answering regarding no similar higher tier lounge but neglected to mention Cafe al Bacio, which is for E+ and Zenith.. Good catch!
  15. I believe @Cherful59 indicated they are Diamond+ on RCCL, which means they will be Elite+ on Celebrity.
  16. I do see that. 8/25/25 next year is the first short itinerary for Wonder. Thanks for the correction. And, although edited for my response, I agree with the rest of your comments as well. Sorry @Billy Baltic, looks like your frustrations will be doubled next year - LOL.
  17. Except that I think the OP is referring to RCCL generated planner purchase promotional emails, not billing reminders. Perhaps those also are not generated with TA bookings.
  18. No such loyalty tier lounge or option exists at present on Celebrity.
  19. As indicated by the other thread I don't think noise would be a big concern. OV staterooms are on the outside edges of the ship and most of the machines and game tables from the casino are further inward. In fact the outer portions of the casino typically are backroom service and office areas. And most of the ice rink above is in from the OV staterooms below.
  20. Simple. When your kids are under 18 they are minors who in fact do share with their parents status while also earning their own points as they likely would be cruising with them. When they are 18 the are considered adults with their own status and individual points as it may be less likely that they will continue to cruise with their parents. "Significant others" are understood to be individual adults who share in an intimate relationship with the other in that household. Not quite the same as a child who has become 18. Regardless, that is the policy.
  21. I prefer to not receive emails encouraging me to purchase excursions or add ons. If I should choose to do so I can look at my planner and decide if there is anything I want to purchase on my own. I don't need or want numerous emails encouraging me to do so. JMO.
  22. Of the newer launches, Utopia is the only one doing the 3/4 night Perfect Day / Bahamas cruises. Wonder and Icon both do typical 7 night Eastern/Western Caribbean itineraries. And when Star is launched in 2025 she will also be doing 7 night Eastern/Western itineraries. This should hopefully limit your frustration to Utopia.
