  2. I'm not having any problem getting into the app, but I have been getting this annoying message lately when trying to click on dining venues and sample menus - "oops, page not found" with a button to return to the home page. 😐
  3. They're always ready at boarding, if not there is a problem..
  4. At this point, I wouldn't hold your breath hoping/thinking that you will assigned a cabin until you arrive at the cruise terminal at check-in.
  5. I'm a non-smoker, and have the same perspective as they do, so your assumption about sensitivity to secondhand smoke doesn't apply to me. You'll have try another assumption in my case..

  7. If you're booking on HAL's website directly, your dining preferences are always requested as part of the process.
  8. On our Nieuw Statendam (sister ship to Koningsdam) sailing in March all Music walk venues were operating and well attended every night. I don't see any reason why KDam would be any different..
  9. For the comfort of all of our guests, all staterooms (cabins), showrooms and most other indoor areas are designated non-smoking. No smoking of any kind will be permitted on any stateroom verandah. Designated Smoking Areas: Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Oosterdam, Westerdam, Zuiderdam Sea View Bar area

  11. Most of the time, but not always. Depends on the particular itinerary. I've seen them fall on port visits like HMC and others, but it doesn't happen often.

  14. Yep, I was that handsome guy... Lol. You have to be proactive and ask for the second cleaning/turn down service, else they will default to just once per day, so that's on you.. 😉
  15. When we met our cabin stewards on embarkation day, we asked them for turn down/tidying up service 2x/day, and that happened every day without a glitch. 👍 That was probably me you saw washing my hands at the Lido buffet. I used the hand washing stations every time I visited the Lido to eat. 🙂
  16. Okay, I must have misunderstood. It seemed to me that she was emphasizing the lemon flavor that she liked in her water.. my bad. 🙃
  17. The ports were awesome, cabin selection is something that is unique to each and every cruiser. We were very satisfied with our inside cabin on deck 6 aft. 🙂
  18. There is always fresh lemon available that you can add to available fresh water from the tap.
