  1. If you booked online the personal planning dept wouldn't know you want one. Phone the customer service number on their website directly 1-888-307-8413 and request. It will be interesting to know if they assign one to you. The staff has dramatically been reduced. They may direct you to general service which will address your concerns/bookings/etc but it will not be 'personal'....a different contact each time you call, but a human contact ☺️. I've had a planner for years but service has changed; takes quite a while for an email or phone reply as she's very busy with increased clientele and reduced number of planners.
  2. Do you know the charge for wine by the bottle, eg Decoy ?
  3. And .... would you be a contributor? 😉
  4. Pick your poison...😉 Never tried Oakville but...there's this cheap stuff at $299 per bottle: PNV Robert Mondavi Winery Cabernet Monastery Block ToKalon Vineyard, 2016 750ml : and then there is this at $6.99 a box:
  5. Napa and which is the low end stuff...LOL?
  6. Do you have any idea what the charge would be for Mondavi Cab by the bottle? Can't find bottle prices on any X listing.
  7. Not really fair to judge all Equinox cabin attendants and the cleanliness of the cabin by this posting. We sailed her in Nov '22...couldn't have changed that much. Everything was as it should be...clean and well attended. I would have definitely insisted on 'meeting the attendant'. GS knows who it is and who to refer this situation to....and not left the desk until something was done about immediate cleaning OR transfer to another cabin, preferably at a higher level for customer satisfaction.
  8. Perhaps email this CC link to President's Office?
  9. Aside from a really bad boarding experience, can you comment on the condition of the ship and cabins? Run down or appearing to be in good shape.
  10. Adding to that....since the 'additional' tax has been levied on our specialty meal, we notice the service is not as it once was...our last Murano meal was quite a disappointment as we expect more from that staff. On the other hand, we were very pleased with Tuscan service and felt the extra left with them over the 20% was deserved.
  11. ha` . Your rep has preceded you..... Just had dinner and fortified...so I'm ready ....😀
  12. Very appreciative of you and well done. After the accommodation. Before isn't an option to me, but as a thank you....absolutely. BTW...I was waiting for the slings and arrows...thanks for the restraint......I'm not up to it today. 🙃
  13. Yikes....much too open ended; no spa for me. I've used the spa for hair/nails in the past and never filled in a questionnaire. Last time was a few years ago...perhaps the requirements have changed if there has been medical 'issues'.
  14. Sorry Pinboy for contradicting your comment re $$ for reservations..... which leaves a poor impression of the 'Celebrity employees'. We've had this discussion before and I've mentioned that I've first hand seen a hostess absolutely refuse to accept $$s for a table. I've never had to cross palms to get a Specialty restaurant reservation. Have you? or is this what you have 'observed'? or do you THINK this is how? On the other hand, you seem to revel in the reactions to some of your posts....so I'm ready....😉
  15. Can't bring pre-illness antibiotics with me but yes to the covid tests.
  16. Last cruise I came down with an extremely sore throat. Concerned it might be covid and I would spread to others, I went to the medical centre. First thing was a covid test, negative, diagnosed with long named throat condition...LOL...antibiotics etc. The charge was $255 US $ but no charge for the covid test...just the doctors time and medication. Still waiting for insurance to cover (2 mos. later) and don't know if full cost will be reimbursed. So visits to the ship doctor are expensive. Further to the visit, my concern with covid was possibly spreading it to someone who could NOT recover if aged or immune compromised. The doctor said I would be cabin restricted but not monitored if I had covid but not DH...he could walk around at will. There's quite a loose policy now onboard.
  17. We found our bags right away in a specific numbered location which depended on our early flight departure time....the same as all other cruisers.
  18. Thanks all for your help. Finally able to contact my CVP and booked the cruise without having to place a hold for a specific cabin. Wish they'd fix the glitch if that's what it is and not their intention to block some of us from holding a cabin.
  19. Thanks for that....but no button. I've seen it in the past, but here in Canada (I've tried 3 different browsers) there's no 'button'...or way around placing a hold.
  20. I've tried every which way to place a hold with no success. Found an old thread here but advice doesn't work; I suspect the 'trick' has been programmed out. Or is this only a glitch when booking from Canada?
  21. Not sure if this is doable, but a poster mentioned they called Captains Club to make their reservations and received the discount on Specialty dining and excursions. I'm about to test it on our upcoming cruise.
  22. When I'm choosing excursions, I book in the 'cart' and along with payment there's also an option to continue shopping. I may go back and cancel said excursion or continue on to payment at some date in the near future at perhaps an increase in price or if sold out at that time, just move on to another. No payment/no refund.
  23. Limited access to Luminae....does that mean breakfast only? 😉
  24. You may save in your cart until payment, but in the interim the excursion may go up in price which you'll pay unless you cancel....at least in my experience when I forgot I had held it.
