how bizarre a reply! Guess ageism is alive and well among a certain population. Look around at what X is advertising....young and dressed for the evening., mixed in with a few gen-grayers...LOL. Maybe trying to put some class back in the line...the younger generation LOVE dressing up and looking good. Maybe SOME of the middle generation have a problem with it.

It's been going on for days...clearing the cache or the 'Celebrity' cookie works but I simply switched from Firefox to Chrome and it works right away and loads everything as it should.

IMO...I don't really think it's the shorts/tee that is objectionable to some, but I'm visualizing a short, tight, multi coloured, way above the knees, pair of shorts and an also tight, short, multi coloured muscle shirt with exposed hairy chest and underarms dining next to our already too close MDR table. This convo has gone off the rails that we're looking down on the shorts/jeans/tee crowd. Clean and neat and appropriate for the fit on the body works for me. Other than that my haha moment would be the green tux so of that I'm guilty. 😉 For me, I'll continue with a nice cocktail dress or pants and beaded top and DH in casual slacks, dress shirt and jacket will look really good across the table...won't notice anything beyond our few square ft...unless...the hairy chest appears next to us...at that we'll move tables...not a problem.

Try a different browser...I get in right away with Chrome.

I don't think it's 'crap' but responses to the question "how much SHOULD I get in OBC"? When Celebrity has a promotion attached to a potential booking or cabin category, I'm happy to RECEIVE what they offer....and whatever the TA offers is a bonus as well. Guess it's the choice of the word 'should'.

Congratulations, you have a good deal....generally speaking, these move up offers are quite low for bids. From Inside to Aqua for $335 pp is very good IMO.

You've posted far more than me (7K posts) in a comparatively short time, so no doubt you know what an 'advertised' program is and what OBC goes with a suite. You must have the answer to most of your questions or know how to search.

OBC goes with the advertised 'program' or the 'suite'....none lately for other cabin categories, unless provided by a TA.

Do you have X emails blocked? I, like the poster, am seeing 2-3 a day; it's the same flash sale or extended sale over and over.

After googling, this is what I found for the Reflection refurbishment; may not be current information but can't find anything on X website for a refurbishment date. From the site: 7 day cruise booked for 2/5/23 then I don't see any cruises for weeks of 2/12 to 2/19/23. Next cruises 2/19 and 2/26/23. "Celebrity Cruises Reflection ship is currently scheduled for "Celebrity Revolution" drydock refurbishment on February 2, 2023."

You can go further into it and fill in the health question responses in advance, but I think you have to do it again the day before sailing (more relevant for sure). That's the cruise we're on BTW.

Any idea if there were a lot of covid cases?

Just checked in today for our Nov. cruise. One of the health questions was "have you received a booster shot" in addition to the 2 vaccinations. No one has said that was a requirement, but happy we're up to date with 3 boosters never-the-less. From other posts/threads some comments indicate there's more cases onboard ships than I thought. I also wonder if the notification the group leader received is a 'standard group form' issued to every 'group' large or small; perhaps the issuer/system hasn't caught up to the latest evolution of standards?

I've noticed the minimum on my 2 bids have increased in the last day...any idea what that could indicate? Maybe more bids than expected so raising the ante?

That would be us! I waken early and prefer to be on the 'balcony' while DH sleeps. Bring early coffee/danish so we both can enjoy the 'balcony'. I've never booked an IV and wonder how that would work. Can't you draw shades between the balcony portion and the cabin?

That's GREAT information. I've been using CVP's for over 10 years and never knew anything about performance merit or the fact I could use another CVP in her absence. It's quite inconvenient when I can't contact her if there's a pricing change which would entail a few booking enhancements which go beyond the norm and I want to keep (complicated and has been a BIG problem during covid cancellations). And yes, they want to rebook and not use the original booking number which changes everything. Each CVP seems to protect their client list to themselves and if I do contact another (saved phone #s or I wouldn't know who to contact), I feel that it's a favour that's being done. So that's where the merit system kicks in I guess.

This is interesting. My CVP has never mentioned her 'merit' system. I thought salaried was just that. Can you share how that works and how you know if not told by her directly? So if she wants to take vacation/time off she can do so without any HO repercussions? I've experienced this and left hanging for 3 weeks waiting for a response with no peer covering for her. Received a lot of 'sorryies' but that didn't help my situation. TIA.
