Yup, been while but I reported cabin next to me and they were charged Fine and this was just for smoking Cigarettes

Sand, patch, paint. Like said tons maint done while Ship has passengers on, they take every railing off, one wk its missing, next returns. Paint over all white areas. This all happened After Dry Dock. During reg Marine Side DD they just dont have the time. Watched them do this every Oct-Dec on 2 Different Ships over 8yr period

Most this type Maint is done yr round not during Dry Dock. With CV shutdown lot this was done. Would do same Cruise every yr and when Ship got back to Florida they'd touchup all White and sand-stain all the wood railings. This while Passengers on reg Cruises and would take about 6wks

Though that has happened since I started Cruising, always a few didnt show up and were called out by Name. Funny thing was last month on B4B my name was called start of 4th leg, also called my Cabin saying I hadnt checked in. Nope actually I had, was first one there like previous 3 Cruises. Was there before Crew set up. At least they didnt make me go down again

30+ yrs ago Cruising was Called Newlyweds and Nearly Dead's and typical of that Royal wasnt a Family Line. At 22yrs old there was only 2 on whole Ship younger then Wife and I. Was also rare have more then handful percent Cabins that held more then 2. Royal price was $3700 for 2 of us on a 7nite OV Deck 2 tiny Porthole Cabin. My Kids/Grands love larger Oasis/Quantum Class Ships but last 2 Decades I almost always go on longer 10+ niters and on Radiance Class. At most typically have had 1700-2050 passengers on Ships that hold 2400, this even PreCV. Nice, quiet, many SOLO like me, less Families and under 50 Kids the norm. In 4 weeks last month I only once had anyone sit in Chair next to me...

Agree. My situation with combination C&A/Solo/Mil Discounts & Benefits other Cruise Lines can't typically beat rates I get on Royal. Now 20-30yrs ago I could find Cheapest Rates on NCl & Carnival...

More common then you realize. Shoot one Cruise 3yrs ago we had 6 Passengers leave the Ship, one before even started the Cruise. My 2nd and 4th Cruise had Helo remove passengers. Then sometimes Alpha can be Crew Training

Not me, you were just lucky. If anything consistent about Royal it's the Inconsistencies. One Cruise might get Ton of stuff for Free like you did, same situation happens again and again and nobody and do not get a penny. That said I've missed many Ports, changed Ports, in decades past at most got 2hrs free drinks. Then as I already mentioned above, late arrival and we recieved 2hrs Internet. Last yr few months before our two 8day Cruises we were told they are now 7 day Cruises.Royal gave a choice, keep them with no reduction in price or cancel.

I'd imagine your cost change Flights was under the limit they normally offer or AirlineS. Pretty typical offer from Royal. On Internet, normally seen offered free day or just 2hrs for late arrivals. This going back 2 decades I've experienced or seen on CC,

I'm at about 1 of every 4 Cruises last 9yrs, leave from one Pier come back to another, or leave from one not originally scheduled from. Though this is on smaller Radiance Class and 20+ yrs ago Vision Class. Most resent happened twice this yr alone, both were next to each other but most time happened to me at Port Everglades or Tampa where did have us walk short distance past other Piers in 2018 and 2019. First time was in 1999 it was so far they shuttled us to Parking Ramp where we left out of. Rode myself and drove back to new Pier while my Wife, Kids and Inlaws waited

Nice! Had opposite experience, on 2 Cruises each lost a day and changed ship(sister/same class). Royal wouldnt reduce the Price. Ended up being CV stoppage canceled 16 months ago anyway

Agree, if premade little more challenging. For special out of ordinary which this could be they use to like heads up. Use to get couple items not on Menu every nite. I'd tell my Waiter or head Waiter first nite and they'd make it happen for us rest of the Cruise
