  1. Done 8 Thanksgivings in last 12yrs and Cruises I was on always had Thanksgiving Meal in WJ including whole Turkey Carving station
  2. Nice! Most Cruises I've Booked last couple yrs Refundable was about same or more then the Deposit amount, though one mine was exactly the same as non
  3. Can do it now, (Apr2024 Explorer/TA). Can even Book the Cabins 7388 & 7688 with only 1 or 2 passengers in it
  4. More listed on Royal site... Like the long Jewel ones, prices not too bad for 12 &13 niters
  5. Step Mother is a now Retired Teacher and also a Michigander. When School was out each year I remember her just as busy taking Summer Classes and Courses. She recently did a Alaska Cruise with my Father and now planning a Trans Pacific to Australia. Got the money and now they have the time!
  6. Few years ago was regular to be released each week at about 3am EST, fortunately I was in AZ instead of Michigan and up late when most people were in bed. At least releases were consistent back then. But even Pre-CV dates were delayed, most my last Cruises Booked last 10 yrs on the day they were released have been late as April, May and even couple in June
  7. My then 12yr old Daughter did that ordering Indian for half the week on our 10nite Cruise, this 20+ yrs ago. She's Adventurous eater even today but on that Cruise she tried Escargot and Caviar. Was with my two younger Kids and Crew thought she was my Wife, during the Cruise they kept offering her Champaign
  8. Looking at whole week I might have to order off Children's Menu couple nites, Chicken Fingers and Fries for me
  9. Agree. Then as already said a 2 passenger Cabin, 3, 4, different Cat. Cabins. Also many forget Kids Free still required pay for their Port Taxes/Fees and the young age requirement
  10. Know that. Just as worried about Influenza and Noro as CV. Even pre-CV haven't been touching railings, Doors, chairs, tables with bare hands in years. My Daughter just arrived home from Royal Cruise with the Flu last nite. SIL today with likely same. Then 8yrs ago my Grand Daughter gave me Noro, I was down for 5 days. Really was last time I was sick.. Cruises, Nobody sat near any my tables, dont eat at main dining and almost all my meals are consumed in my Cabin. Nobody sat near me in Theater, ft or behind, I'm always Balcony side/corner. Havent done a shore excursion since 2015 and last Royal Elevator rode was in 2002. That said my point is I feel at higher risk with hundreds in same small area at my Station along with hundreds more walking threw us then do anywhere else I've been on the Ship. Last month was onboard for 27 days, at start on each my legs I was first one scanned at my station and off I went long before others arrived. Prefer this then old way. Will it change back, possible
  11. If same as last weeks release still have another 26+ hrs
  12. Not surprised, just got off a 27nite Cruise and observed Maintenance working on multiple Clogs all but 2 days and thats just what I observed. Now if they enforce it along the Smoking Balcony/Cabin fines
  13. For me a packed/Crowded Muster Station is the only situation I'd ever be close to so many other Passengers. Done 9 Cruises so far this yr where I ate alone, sit alone during Shows and never ride Elevators.
  14. Was talk while back Canceling Program, even on here. But still exists, Ships been running out Blocks and waiting on 4 back ordered myself.
  15. From the Test load(couple pages back) looks like at least some are this week
  16. 7 out of 8 times I've had decorations up Friday Morning after Thanksgiving on same Cruise in November
  17. Agree, items with stronger Magnets work better. Also Do Not Use colored Jell type sticky things on Doors. Been on multiple Ships where there is Dozens of permanently stained outlines of Orange Pumpkins, Green Xmas Trees and even few Thanksgiving Turkeys. Counted 28 damaged doors on the Serenade last Month. Many I remember from Pre-CV so they don't go away
  18. Yup, Common issue people forget that Taxes/Fees refunded. Then if multiple Passengers FCC assigned to each usually not all in same amounts. Was busy keeping track of 2 Dozen Canceled Cruises, what was Canceled/Refunded or FCC and what was applied and reapplied to new Bookings. Had quite a chart going, all finally used up by last month. Was VERY lucky in the end after having issue with 2 FCC issued before CV would/had expired. After a Call to a Rep couldnt help a few months ago Emailed Royal Head Office on a Sat nite. Response by Noon Mon reissued AND also offer asking if I wanted them combine and apply all my FCC's to pay off 6 Cruises. Yes! Thank you! Saved me hrs on the phone with a Rep
  19. Agree, same. Bet I've had at least 2+ symptoms at start of everyone of my last 50 Cruises. This question is similar to original Pre-CV one
  20. My Daughter and Grand Daughter were Coughing at end of our Cruise, both non-CV. Just time of year
  21. Agree. Was on Serenade and same even many of Crew handshaking. First one caught me off Guard, glad we're finally getting there that elbow bumping was just silly...
  22. Yeah, and was a small bottle liquor when I saw it Pre-CV on my Sailings. Only thing been in my Planner Gift Section lately been Bottle Champaign/Strawberries at $149 or Bottle Wine/Cheese for $45, this on 4 Different Royal Ships
  23. Kool, glad to help! Doing the Oct2023 Radiance Panama Canal myself with Daughter, Grand Daughter and SIL.
