  1. They did say the late show was a repeat of the early show, but they did not say there was only one show.
  2. We just got off the Carnival Freedom (March 27-April 1). The comedians were good, but I have a question. We went to the late night adult show on two different nights. Same comedian. His routine was the exact same. I was surprised. In the knew that if there were two shows the same night they would use the same set but not on different nights. When we were on the Legend last June, The shows were different each night. I asked Momo (Comedy Club Manager) and she said this is normal. Is this right or did something change?
  3. The same thing happened to me, it was before Covid. I was very appreciative, but man I was tired of crème brûlée by the end of the week.
  4. We were at LFK in November of this past year. We had been a couple of times in the past before all the drama started. Here are my thoughts in a 30 second review. We had some challenges finding the transportation there. Even though we knew were to go and who to look for we struggled finding the van. We had booked prior to Covid (previous owner) and had a two cruises cancelled on us. Even though they confirmed via email that they would honor the reservation which was paid in full they were reluctant to do it, After a lengthy conversation they did honor the reservation, minus the lunch, drinks and prepaid massage. The beach was just as beautiful but the service was a little lacking. It was still good, but not like before. The biggest challenge had nothing to do with LFK, it is the development of the island across the bay. It really hurts the intimacy of LFK. We walked over to the other side of the island but it is not nearly as well kept as it had been. Will we go again. Not sure. The development of the island across the bay really hurt the vibe for us. First timers will really enjoy it as they do not have the old LFK to compare it to. Ease of getting there- Average Safety - Felt extremely safe Enjoyment- Good as any other excursion I have taken Service- Average
  5. Here are some photos I have
  6. We were just there in November 2022. They sent transportation, they were vans. You walk out of the port area, up the big hill, down the other side and the vans for independent operators are on the right. They often use the vans for Frenchy’s but you can just ask. We were some of the first off the ship, we were there about 10:00 and left about 3:00 (we did a little shopping on the way back at the port)

  8. Excellent post. You hit my thoughts exactly
  9. It’s been years, but the game was on by the pool, in the casino and sports bar and in the theater. They did a mini tailgate by the pool and in the theater. They still had normal activities if your not into the game.
  10. I just carry on myself as well. You can ask the room steward for an extension chord, but I usually have one packed as well. I have always used the water from the sink.
  11. Can koozies on the Glory in November
  12. Yes you could. The shuttle pickup is just to the side of the building. You would want to drop off there and not at the entrance of the garage. I would recommend dropping your luggage off directly at the port so you don’t have to schlep it around at all. You could still drop your luggage and both still ride the shuttle
  13. We just returned from there last week. Mitsugirly is correct with the website. There have been several changes since we were there 5 years ago. The most significant one was the development of big French key by Carnival. The area is not as quiet as it once was.
  14. 10:00 would be tighter than I would be comfortable with. We just got off the glory yesterday. We were off the ship and in the car by 07:30
  15. We just returned from the Glory yesterday. I could not have been more disappointed with the Thanksgiving dinner. We chose to eat at Lido. There was a turkey they were carving which was good. They had a sweet potato mash but no other traditional sides. I understand that Thanksgiving is an American Holiday, but I expected a little more. I did notice that no one else seemed to be concerned about the offering. There were plenty of other dinner choices. I may be a tad sensitive since Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
  16. The garage was at the Admiral Somme’s Hotel 251 Government Street.. There is a Wyndham hotel here (but I used points for the Hampton)
  17. We drove down from Chicago and stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown on Royal street. We parked at the Hampton lot the first night and used spot hero to find parking downtown for the cruise. Then took an uber for $5 to the port. I think the garage was $8 a day.
  18. No worries at all. Enter off convention center blvd. There will be an attendant standing there. Show them your reservation (print off) and they will get you a ticket. Then you go park, leave the ticket and email on the dash. Andrew Higgins Blvd and Diamond run parallel to each other on either side of the parking garage. Have a great trip
  19. Will do. Mr Sanchos wasn’t Spring Break crowded, but when you are used to under 100 people at Nachi it doesn’t take much.
  20. We are giving the Paradise Beach AI a try when we go in two weeks. We usually do Nacchi, and are big fans. The kids want the water inflatables. We tried Mr Sanchos but it was a tad to crowded for us. But that was prior to Covid, Let me know any questions and I will try and get the answers during my trip
  21. The previous post explains our experience perfectly.Mr Sanchos was a tad too crowded for us, we tried it as they did have the inflatables for the kids. We go back in two weeks and we are giving Paradise Beach a try. It appears to be a cross between the two.
  22. Sorry for the delay in responding. The porter will come right to your car and take the luggage. There are benches right there where you can walk her over to have a seat. While it is busy it is not near as crazy Miami. You should be able to make sure your wife is settled. My son had a broken leg (in a wheelchair) when we first did this and everyone was very accommodating
  23. Thanks, I was just curious. I’m a little to old for zip lining or cave tubing. It looked like a good option. I’m sure I can find something else.
