  4. Good Afternoon Jan and Susan. Jan forgot you had daughter and family staying with you. Nice of you to help them paint. Bet their excited to move in. Best wishes for your husband that everything goes well for him. Yes think 2 days is a little to much when usually men moan and groan more when sick. then women.😊 Susan thanks and I hope I win big. Can't wait to see beautiful Alaska even if cold. Good luck with whatever you're doing on reno today. I should be packing and cleaning a little but on here. Am washing the towels and sheets now.   6. Susan OOPS! Know it's May --Slip of my finger or my brain.😄 Isn't this the day they say--May the 4th be with you? Down a pound is great especially when going through reno, know how you're feeling. I can't look at flooring till the 20th. Hope can find what I want. Good luck on not eating extra snacks. Jan maybe you did better than you think. You'll see tomorrow. My weeks been ok, thanks for asking but been too lazy. I leave on Sunday for Alaska cruise and haven't gotten ready yet. I didn't weigh today either, slept late, had tea and forgot to weigh. Will tomorrow with you. As I said leaving Sunday, only 10 days. Don't plan to get internet. Can call "kids", friends from Alaska. Only thing will have so many e-mail when I get back--mostly "Junk Mail". Hate it. Never been this early to Alaska, taking a heavy coat which I hate to wear but if cold will be glad I have it. I just like light jackets or sweaters. Even taking the gloves. Go again in August when it will be warmer. I've always had good weather in Alaska and just taken light jackets but this year the weather is crazy all over. (will still take a jacket and sweater too) Who knows. they could have a heat wave--70's😁 Have you two had unusual weather? We've had so much rain and cooler weather this year.

  9. Hello from me on this Sunday afternoon. Been a lazy Sunday which is stupid because I have so much to do. Been eating pretty good, no gain but no lost since Thursday. Still have a week before cruise. Are you all having a relaxing day or are you busy doing fun things or doing some work? Whatever you're doing hope your Sunday was nice or is nice (depends what day reading this)
  10. Susan--sorry about flooring in bathrooms. I too have problem with a corner part of the family room floor that will have to be fixed to. Always something. In a bathroom got new vanity and toilet didn't touch the floor. That was done years ago, thank goodness. Staying the way for now!😄 Can't believe having 2 bedrooms down to studs. Have you waited long for floors? Hope I don't when I find what I want. Think you like me, hard to get things done when we're cruising often. Good Luck! Jan--That's great you right now have no gains for the year, 4 months. Know want to lose but but staying the same is always better then gaining. You can lose, having a trainer will help. Didn't you lose last time you had one? Yes, it is a mess getting things done in the house, but wish would of done it sooner but like cruising better!😄 I'm lucky in some ways that having some done while I'm gone and not living through some of it. Worst will be after like I said. Izena--On your cruise now hoping you have nice weather and do all the things you want to do. Surprise you had to wait so long to board, least nice you had a room to wait in. Great in walking while you were there. The market is something. Airplanes are like cruises in many ways. Adding more seats to get more passengers, so seats smaller, bathrooms too. Ships make more cabins, so smaller rooms and balconies. Have a good weekend. I need to do some work in house and also get stuff ready for cruise, only 10 days but still need things. Just have to decide what. I know such a problem.
  11. Hi everyone see you all had a pretty good week even with a few events thrown your way. Mt--Good loss this week and you've been doing great trying to get to your goal. Yes, walking playing golf will be exercise. Good luck at the birthday party. Jan--Even if you still have cruise gain least you didn't gain more. One piece of candy a day that is portion control. What might give you more trouble is four extra people in the house--you might eat less or you could eat more. Stay strong. Susan--Staying the same is better than a gain but having the food and drink at a wedding, you did good but know you want to lose. Know you'll get more off by cruise Izena--On her cruise, hoping she's having a good time. Me--I stayed the same I'm the same weight i was before the 40 day cruise. But I think I lost some weight to get there. Didn't weigh last week. Just happy it said stayed the same. Trying to eat only 1 or 2 meals a day, don't need 3. My rooms got painted and some other things got done while I was gone but not the floors yet. So, furniture is stacked in living and dining rooms and other stuff in boxes all over the house. Why? Don't want to put furniture back and then have to move again to do the floors and then put them back again. Do have few things in table, chairs in kitchen, chair, TV in family room for now. Plus, I don't want everything put back especially pictures and all nick knacks. So, living in house is fine. Hope to get floors put in, in June when I'm gone. Have to pick out in May after my cruise. Hope they have more selections than before and have them in stock. What I dread is after floors are in, I have to go through everything and decide what I want to keep. I'm really enjoying the kitchen; family rooms empty and the living room when it was. So, thinking less it is. Have a good weekend everyone, come in and talk. Like to hear how everyone is doing.

Four/five days to May however you count Can you count the pounds you lost ln these last four months Or is it that you can count the pounds you gained Or can you say I stayed the same Whatever happen we know we can do better Portion control, less carbs, really less sweets we ALL LOVE Throw in exercise, that always helps and drinking our water Know it's hard when we go on cruises off and on Know we Can Do It--Just have to work at it everyday of the week We will never give up even with our ups and downs---of course we want the Downs!

  14. Yes, always long lines getting back unless you can time it right. I was lucky last time there, found the right time, lucky because it was so hot. People waiting 2 hours or more after I got on. They were passing out water to people in line. One reason why it took the Crown so long to get people off might be what happen on Royal, March & April (was on both) was Maui told the ship/captain they couldn't tender in till all the fishermen and other boats left port. Some of them weren't in a hurry. The people who had tours were an hour or more late. Some people just gave up and stayed on the ship. The all clear to get off ship the without tickets was way after 12 - 12"30 Work on the dock. What they did who knows? Nothing has changed helping the tenders. Same spot, same everything.
  15. Hello you three on this Sunday. MT-- I hope you had a good weekend. I know everything is always planned for the weekends and always has food and drink. It's hard at times not to eat to much. We want to be with our friends and families. Izena-- you do so good at walking everyday bur snakes! Happen to me once when walking (million years ago) on the road thought it was a stick--then it moved and so did I--Fast! Have fun on your cruise. How long is it? Yes, I really don't eat that much on a cruise to what you can eat plus you do walk a lot. Know you'll do well. Jan--Welcome Back. Glad you had a good time with the family. You did so many nice adventures. You got your grandson hooked on cruising. If did gain, will come off fast I hope, water weight. In the casino you came home with more money that's great! I'm sad for your husband to hear about his sister after coming home from a nice cruise. Well really anytime is a bad time but after a trip it puts a sadness around it. Tell him I'm sorry for his loss. Jo ---Still waiting to hear from you. Are you alright? Wishing us all a good week of eating right and trying to get some kind of exercise.
  16. Another weekend is here. Do you find that weekends are harder to follow your eating plans then the weekdays? Or is it the same--every day is a hard day? What is harder for you--Daytime or nighttime?
  17. Glad you all want to stay here. Wish we could the "old timer's" back doesn't matter if gained or lost. Need new people too. I'm worried about JO. She and husband have had some illness before. Jo come in and tell us you're alright at least. Susan--Congrats on the pound loss. Yes, think we all need something to keep us accountable whether we're having a good week or bad, more loss's, less gains. Mt--1st glad got back on track after your fun night out and didn't have a gain this week. Also great you see a difference and your clothes fit better. You made a goal for your cruise which is good but remember no matter how much you lose it is less than you are now. Izena--Sorry you're having a lot of stress in your life right now. Also, sorry that Jazzper isn't up to par. Glad he is still walking in the morning. I wouldn't want to walk in the morning and night too I'm not!🙁 Sorry your having trouble eating right, and sugar is calling you.... calling me too. At least your walk everyday. You get exercise to help with eating to much. I don't. Yes, I'm having a hard time getting on track after cruise. Feels like I'm eating and snacking more at home than I did on the ship for 40 days. Next cruise is in May is only a 10 day should be able to stay on track. Trouble is like Izena have to get back on track. My problem is evening snaking, sweets, food choices not to bad. Well everyday I'm trying to do better being aware helps me/you not gain a lot if gaining, less than if you weren't aware. Will get back to losing even if it's slow. My problem slow loss's which at times makes me eat the wrong things because I think I should be losing faster. Should just be happy with slow loss's and not have any gains. Have a good Friday and weekend. Hope you come in this weekend and say how you're doing.

Know if your away you can't talk but if home you can. I know there's only a few of us for now. Is that why you're not talking? You have to let me know. what you want.

I had a not so good weekend of being hungry late at night. My fault only ate one meal a day, when do that need a healthy snack too. I'm worried about Jo she hasn't been on awhile. Hope she's alright Ombud hasn't either but I see her name on other things so know she's alright. Miss the people who come on once or twice then leave. Wonder did they give up or doing great on their own. Wish we would talk more and get more people on here again. Know it's hard when we take cruises off and on. Weighs to help if even not doing well keeps us from gaining more Because We're Aware!
