I’m sorry. I had multi quotes ready to do last night and just didn’t have the strength last night or today. In fact, I crashed last night. @Seasick Sailor -yes I had to acknowledge the post on the Future Cruise Listing. I hope I have the energy tomorrow -otherwise it will be Saturday. I am just plain exhausted and accomplishing nothing. Other than Little Shadow. I guess I can’t handle stress well. Yesterday I was on the phone for forever on hold with Aeroplan after they changed my flight again and I now had a 13 hour connection time. No thanks. My fridge was making funny noises - cleaned out the freezer - tried to clean as best I could and the noise.stopped. But, I know it’s too warm so I have been making a multitude of trips downstairs ( the cheapo fridge that is still working) A new fridge is ordered but will won’t get her until Tuesday and it’s local and my trusted appliance place. Going to be a a long few days walking down those stairs and back. I am just done with problems in this house since Jose died. It seems like everything is caving in. But never fear, Little Shadow doesn’t know that; She’s a happy camper other than “IN” and now nipping because she wants to play. She’s definitely come out of her shell. She has met my dogs’ 2nd mother and was enchanted with her in a very few minute and nuzzling her in 15. She has really come around so far. I would say she is out of her shell. It’s hard to get pics of her though because of the way she prances and jumps In any case if I am not on tomorrow, no worries. I just feel badly I couldn’t; even acknowledge the posts I wanted to. Have a great night all. This stuff used to be a piece of cake. Now it’s not. I feel badly I didn’t do the posts I wanted to last night but for some reason any stress overwhelms me because I have no one to talk to about the options and I instinctly reach out my soul mate that isn’t here. Different provinces each determined their different qualifications (age, immune compromised, etc) to receive the booster (similar to the vaccine) and increased them as time went on. the problem is not that there is not enough - the problem is some people don’t feel the same urgency to get the booster as they did for the original vaccines.

Well yes and no. For the original double vaccination - yes but the booster percentage is not that high for either the 1st booster or the 2nd.

Both our cruisers are cruising and finally able to do their belated / delayed celebrations. Wonderful! We hope they have a wonderful time on board celebrating and enjoy the sights and ports and, of course, we wish them fair winds and smooth seas. Suite specific dining venues? The only place that is suite specific (Neptune Suite & above) is the Neptune Lounge with it’s continental breakfast, lunch nibbles and hors d’hoeuvres. Holland America does not have separate dining for suites.

The Shadow saga continues with the one step forward, 2 steps back LOL. She finally discovered she liked a real toy yesterday. And after our standard play, training I decided to see if I could lure her to walk on leash all the way down the long driveway to the street. It wasn’t a pretty walk but we did it. She was absolutely zonked after. Unfortunately later she got very excited and when I turned my back to stop her from jumping she went for my leg to get my attention! A very firm correction with a very loud no and a correction. I’ve been gentle with corrections but that will not / nor should be tolerated. (No harm intended - it’s what a puppy would do until it knows better) Well, she was not a happy camper and I ended up having to carry her in the house 😔 But this morning she has forgiven me, it seems. LOL who needs to forgive who? And she is paying attention so far to my signal for no jumping 🤞 Prayers for everyone on the Care list & for those that need them and a 🥂 to those on the Celebratory / Shout Out list. Shadow doesn’t have the same lilt in the voice. It’s a downward one whereas little is an upwards one. Right now I am trying to get this dog engaged and excited to come see me and do things. Little can be said with an upwards lilt in your voice (which is cheerful) which encourages them. Shadow can’t. I did the same thing with my other rescue. Her name was Fox (horrible name for training - you need 2 syllables) although a great name for a dog. I called her Little whenever she was frightened on a walk to get her attention and she would focus and carry on. (She was ‘little” to me compared to the other 2 big dogs - so that’s how it started and when I saw the response I started to use it). @marshhawkbest wishes for today’s visit with your new doctor. @Cruzin Terriglad you are getting seen at the clinic. The Chef’s table is totally different than the other specialty dinner offered. It is a very small group 12-18 people and an incredible experience with the Cellar Master, Chef and a multitude of attendants to take care of you to name a few. It was NEVER published nor advertised. You had to ask. I was sad to see it go. The crystal, the flowers, table setting and service were exquisite and the food was as well always. I miss it. It was well worth the price and experience. I have a bad feeling that the Pinnacle Gala has replaced it. There is no comparison.

I don’t do anything here but I appreciate your kind words. Thank you - they have been widows and supportive but I was hurt - I’m overly sensitive these days, I admit. I don’t know if I was right or wrong to do this and was full of trepidation but it’s done. I’m weary, no question but I was weary before and at least I am helping (or trying to ) someone else. The cruise I am going on was booked 3 years ago for DH and myself. We had been through numerous cancellations, ship transfers, etc.. There is significant FCC involved. My TA has worked countless hours and it is FINALLY in my name and his FCC is credited - but despite their promise HAL did NOT transfer the OBC which I had earned nor his FCC so now I owe more. I told my TA not to worry - if it isn’t fixed (I have gone to a higher power at HAL), there will be other cruise lines in my future if this cruise is not completely up to snuff. Really have a bad taste in my mouth on this. If things work out, I suspect you will be right, Jane. She’s a lot of work but she is sweet. There is a little glow that goes off when you see a step forward in success.

Thanks. Oh my, yes she does now. She is coming (most times) when I call and follows me around outside. When I say we play “hide and seek” - it’s me getting out of her sight so she comes looking for me 👍 Trying to show her who she can trust and give her a leader. 🤞 Ahh, thanks. I felt badly after I posted - felt like I was attention seeking but I really appreciate the support - you have no idea how much. Thanks so much. To be clear she is not adopted (yet). She is technically a foster but the organization has already given me the all clear to adopt and hope I do. If it works out, I will. It takes 3 months to get a fearful dog’s total trust and turn them over to someone else without them feeling they are being abandoned again and lose trust. As long as it works out, yes, her forever home will be here. I made sure that I had a spot secured for her at my dogs’ vacation home for the cruises and she is reserved. Debbie is fabulous with rescues & willing to work with her especially with me having her for 3 months. ♥️. Thank you ♥️ It’s tough some days to buckle down and work with her but she’s here and can’t be ignored. Well, back out to work with her a bit more. I think I might have scored a small victory again today. 🤞 Now to see if she still likes me after it - LOL.
