This is me and my DW.  I book us on cruises and then she complains I use up all of her vacation days.  Like we didn't discuss the cruise before I booked it.

Princess and NCL maybe because you're getting more. WiFi on NCL is pretty expensive and almost makes it worth it. Add in specialty coffee and a specialty dinner and it's probably worth it. 

 

Thanks for the reply.  I really appreciate how thorough you are during your reviews.  I am now considering NCL and Princess because of your reviews.  Carnival should be sending you the free cruise offers because of your influence.

I am not a drinker, do the plus packages on either line make sense for a non drinker?  I don't have any issues with Carnival, however, I think my DW wants to try other lines.

We had 14 people on our last cruise all linked together prior to the cruise. We all had any time dining.  There were 2 nights where we all ate together at the same table.  I simply went to the restaurant in the morning and they reserved a time for us.  All we had to do was show up.  The other nights we selected who was coming to diner and did the any time dining through the app.

Carnival Magic 270 days.  Hopefully, I will be able to book a cruise before that one.

You may have to retire the pineapple shirt.  Which I just learned about this year.  Had no idea. I almost bought some pineapple door decorations for our Hawaiian cruise last February.  That would have been awkward.

Maybe I can contact the casino department and see if they would extend me an offer for Princess.

@TxTeach79 I think my DW would love to try Princess.  Did you get a casino offer for princess based on your play at Carnival?  I have really good casino offers right now from Carnival so it is hard to try another cruise line.

This is similar to what someone posted yesterday on the other website about having to hide from a stalker on the Vista.

It is a glitch with Carnivals hub app that sometimes allows Iphones to send text messages without purchasing a wifi plan.  On our Miracle cruise in February to Hawaii and Breeze out of Galveston in July I was able to send messages without any issues.  No videos or pictures.  On our cruise a couple of weeks ago on the vista I was not able to send messages after the 2nd day for some reason.  So it is hit or miss.

We didn't have any issues a couple of weeks ago getting off of the Carnival Vista.  They had 2 lines, passport and birth certificate.  You collected your luggage after customs.  Facial recognition was working.  I am surprised that Princess has different procedures than Carnival.

On principle you should order 4 beers through room service to make sure you go over the limit.

Last week @Saint Greg had issues with beverage charges.  Do you think it is because people are giving their room numbers at the bar and they are keying in the wrong number?
