7-4. I just don’t see us getting out and about THAT early. We will there someday!

My DW and I love St. Thomas. We did a weeklong vacation after our cruise a couple of years ago.  We are going on the Magic in August with the same itinerary as this cruise plus St. Maarten.  Looking forward to the adventures.  Thanks again for taking us along.

We’ll have to see. My stepdad was supposed to go with me but he had to have surgery so he’s out. If I do go it’ll be a solo trip.

I hope you feel better and your step dad is recovering well.  Do you typically drive down to NO or fly? @MeganGC1983 will be rooting against you this weekend.

Yes, Platinum and above perk.  Just go to the casino cashier and ask them for your free play.  You will probably have to play those funds on the Celebration, but you can cash out any winnings.

you can ask for the free play in chips to use at the tables if you don't want to do a slot machine.

  4. Bacon is served every day in the MDR for breakfast.  I have been on 20 Carnival cruises and have yet to encounter a difficult employee.  The room attendant does only clean once per day, but you can choose if you want morning or evening service.  They tend to push for morning service.  I have always been offered bread in the MDR for dinner, so it may just have been the lack of a helper.

  5. I have done both a Havana Cabana and Havana Interior on the Vista and Panorama.  I prefer to save the money and book the Havana interior since the Havana area offers a large area to sit and enjoy outside.  The pool and hot tubs are not crowded at all.

  6. I have been on 20 Carnival Cruises and have not seen the behaviors as others have reported.  I have smelled weed on a couple of cruises both out Galveston pre pandemic.  Granted, I don't hang out on Lido so I may not have the same experiences as others.  By the way, I love the Miracle.  Even though it is smaller never feels crowded.

I work with the laziest people on the face of the earth. Offices 10 feet apart and talking to each other on speaker phone. The echo is so annoying. I just have to close my door.

When I am at work, I walk down to coworkers offices to talk to them.  I wouldn't think about calling them on the phone if we are in the same building.  Must be a younger generation thing.

  8. Celebrity allowed us to call ahead and make a reservation with their version on any time dining.  That was pre-covid.  I am not sure what they do now.  On our Vista Cruise the last week of October, I was able to speak to the maitre'd in the morning and make reservations on 2 nights when all 14 of our party wanted to eat together.  She gave us a specific time to be in the dining room.

Finally caught up after a short five day Carnival cruise to Nassau and Bimini.  Loved Bimini…absolutely gorgeous water.  More security on the ship than I’ve ever seen and a more visible presence of drug detection dogs, both in port and on the ship.

Prayers and good thoughts to all the tribe members going through valleys.  Congrats on the new grandbaby to be and the new baby and successful surgery and upcoming surgery.

I’ll leave a few pictures here from our cruise.  We had a great time.  Loved the CD, Gabe, and enjoyed seeing the ship decorated for a Christmas.

In my 21 cruises I have never seen a drug dog on the ship.

Reminds me of when Carnival released the "brilliant" new deli sandwich menu of microwaved frozen pre-made sandwiches and chips. People were pissed because it's disgusting food, and JH convinced "the beards" to serve us Ore Ida fries instead of potato chips and acted like he was doing us a favor.

The point is they might bring back one option just to throw us a bone, but this change will absolutely not be reverted. I wouldn't be surprised if the omelette station isn't completely gone soon, replaced with pre-made omelette looking objects on the slop line.

Not all of the deli menu is pre made.  Some of the items they make when ordered.  The steak sandwich is premade.

Well, it's a big friday in the Chaos Barn... we've had another very unfortunate bathroom incident, but on the more festive side the hallway decoration judging is today, and this, apparently, is me as a gingerbread man per my kids. They nailed the shirt, but I'm profoundly offended by the hairstyle (because it's so accurate)

At least they didn't draw your upside down pineapple shirt.
