  1. Oh no, I hope you hear soon either way and not kept in suspense
  2. Really looking forward to your reports of the inaugural cruise. We are not due to sail on Explora until Jan24 so will be keenly following for a flavour of the onboard experience and any useful tips. Will Heike be your ‘host’? Have a wonderful cruise
  3. Hi Kevin Your right, Norton Japan was cooler but mostly in 2 figures degrees C . We took only light warm jackets and sweaters. Only saw rain on 2 days out of 15. A couple of days the temp reached 20 degrees plus! I think it’s a question of packing layers to give you options but don’t forget the swimsuit as I did! We we’re absolutely blown away by Japan, the people and culture and the welcomes we received in ports were amazing like nothing we had ever experienced. We were lucky with the blossom as many places were in full bloom. Quest was outstanding and added to the experience with several onboard events Hope you enjoy Vicki
  4. Hi Gill So glad you had a great time. We loved our Quest cruise in March to Japan. Next on Onward for a transatlantic in November Vicki X

    New website.

As above, my reservation I can see but also I can see loyalty level and points stated as Adventurer with nil points when we are Discoverer plus all earned on Azamara. This was after we submitted the form and had an email informing us the issues were fixed. Shall just sort out onboard if not rectified until then
  6. Yes I certainly liked the visual of a deck plan as before but anything at this stage would be an improvement. Vicki
  7. I will not book online now the option of choosing a cabin of my choice and not the only offering the system chooses for me is the only option. A simple drop down box of available cabins where I could scroll and select would suffice. Not rocket science……or maybe it is!
  8. Looks like a varied response to who got a post cruise survey and who didn’t. As I said Azamara definitely have my email address and it hasn’t landed in Junk/spam mail. Its a shame because besides general feedback we wanted to give special mention to several members of outstanding crew. I suppose I’ll just have to send a separate email with the Hope our thanks will be passed on.
  9. Ok John, thanks for the response. Neither of us got one(checked spam folder also) after completion of our cruise on 3rd April on Quest. I do get regular emails from Azamara and have registered my email address so not sure if it’s a ship thing or we just didn’t get one!
  10. Not sure which thread to ask this question or comment on. We have not long returned from Japan Intensive cruise on Quest (loved it!) Although onboard we were able to provide early comments on how the cruise was going and flag any issues, which were speedily addressed by our excellent hotel director Richard, we did not receive the post cruise questionnaire by email as has been the case on previous cruises. Has anyone else who cruised recently had a post cruise questionnaire?
  11. Good news is we just returned from Japan intensive and we got both a tote bag and new design key holder! However Whispering Angel was in very short supply🙄
  12. I agree with the comments. I certainly like to view the cabin availability before selecting and making a commitment to a booking. Let’s hope this can be rectified as I and others would definitely be more inclined to pursue and book having the complete picture.
  13. Did exactly the same as above on embarkation and they would not accept We had to take the ship test prior to boarding. I even took the packaging with barcode and tests in a sealed bag together with dated photo next to my passport

    New website.

We have just checked the site for our next cruise and although details are correct for the sailing we too are listed as Adventurer when we are Discoverer Plus. Hopefully this will be rectified soon
  15. Heck! Will have to Google Fevertree in Japan. Enjoy your cruise
  16. Thanks Robyn.. Do you know if Fevertree tonic is available onboard? Enjoy the current cruise until you get to Japan tonic is available on
  17. We also board on March 19th in Tokyo. Have they started the instillation of Starlink internet yet and more importantly is there any Fevertree onboard! Thanks
  18. Anyone onboard Quest at the moment can confirm that the new instillation of Starlink internet is being installed on the cruise that is heading for Japan? Thank you Vicki
  19. Keeping everything crossed that it’s available on Quest when we board in 2 weeks🤞🤞🤞
  20. Thanks! Don’t know how I missed that🙄
  21. Hi Phil Do you happen to know when Quest is being upgraded with the new system? We board on March 19th in Japan. Hope you are well, fabulous to hear your news 🥰 Vicki
  22. Just wondering which Chef’s Table you did? We are hoping to do one next month but will need to decide. Thanks
  23. We have also purchased an indulgence package. When selecting an excursion you then select who is included in that selection and if it’s the two of you for instance then the total cost of the excursion is deleted from the ongoing total of Shore excursion credit. So yes in effect it covers both of you.
  24. Thank you so much for taking the time to ask for me.. Hope you had a lovely cruise.
