After a few days of wind and rain we are having a beautiful day in Southern New England. It is 57° and the first bike ride that I have had in maybe 3 months.

In 2022 Jason Liberty alone received over 10 million in compensation. Doesn't seem like he, or the rest of the execs, are paying the piper as you put it.

We are finally in agreement as at least you admit that RCI's pricing is ridiculous. I am one who won't be paying them. I also am in agreement with you that I find the on board experience still to be what I am looking for and still very good. Though many of the complaints seem to involve the MDR and I have not been in there in years so I can't comment on it.

No one is denying that RCI can make whatever business moves it wants. Just as you have no issue defending every move RCI makes, long time customers have every right to voice their disappointment with the direction that RCI is going in at the moment. Hopefully, the moves don't turn out to be short sighted. They would not be the first company to chase a dollar today only to have it cost them ten dollars tomorrow. Only time will tell us all how this plays out. Right now, a cruise that I was going to book in April is a no go over price. There are cabins available. Maybe RCI will sell them or maybe the one I was going to book will go empty. Who knows. As for me, I'll have some extra money in my bank account and I'll walk down the street to the beach.

Until the next recession or pandemic comes along. Then RCI will be doing everything they can to get us back on the ships.

Don't forget being able to afford to pay your top execs multi million dollars a year.

Last night I was looking to add in an 8 nighter at the end of April. The pricing was eye popping. I'll be staying home.

This is a perfect example of why people should take a physician along with them when they cruise. And one who can play the piano is even better.

I've actually never been IN the store but outside of it. They are closed on Saturdays which is the day I would typically be in NYC. I think you can't even place an order on their website between a certain time Friday night through a certain time Saturday. Has to do with religious reasons as I understand it. Also if you have their store credit card, unless this has changed, they deduct the amount of the sales tax from the total of your order and that can save quite a bit off your order.

I can tolerate non-refundable deposits. I don't appreciate the change fees at all.
