We are on QM2 with Cunard part of Carnival and never saw signs of such, At meal times and embarkation and meals before going a shore for tours can be challenging but there is plenty of seat on the ship to sit. Sorry for your touble.

Talking about the General Parking situation of the Ship's Terminals of NY Harbor.... One terminal costs more than the other ones.

We too in Brooklyn are not happy with the Terminal Parking situation and our price is 45 dollars per 24 hours period. ( 7 day cruise ) And have no alternative options near Terminal for parking.. I have no option in 9 days. Except leave car home and chance a ticket.

2025 13 day Carib QM2 that haven't done since 2007. And did many of those on the QE2, She is doing it because the Qx Anne is taking her World Cruise away in 2025, So that is the next after this one. It was hidden away and almost didn't see it.

Even waking up at twilight and seeing the sky so bright with Stars and Planets. But the best is a Full Moon shining across the water towards the ship in a straight line so bright watching on the Balcony....

1st.....If you will be departing on the Princess Line, sounds like your ship will be docked in Red Hook Brooklyn. The 9-11 Memorial and Museum is located in Manhattan on the West Side across from the World Financial Center. Next to the Wall Street Area. What was once named the World Trade Center. 2nd........There are many various ways to travel to the 9-11 Memorial/ 1 Freedom Tower location from Brooklyn that I know others will suggest. Ferries, Car Service, Subway etc.... I will leave it to others suggests. It will eventually be up to you....

We on the Cunard Line starts Formal Dress on Formal Evening from After 6PM. Those that after Dining can change to more casual dress but are encouraged to visit certain areas of the ship not to conflict those in More Formal Dress. Formal Dress on formal evening sort of set a certain air of Formality with all enjoying the festivities.

When we were booked in Princess Grill Class, we had a very pleasant experiences with the Concierge. She was pleasant and we always stopped by to say hello during the day also to see if there was anything special to pickup. Also she did help solve a number of situations that we appreciated. It is also quiet place to read and share a cup of tea and some sweets.

The restaurants in NY area call a Lobster Roll with Butter - Connecticut Lobster Roll We always go to Salty's in Halifax but they have a Mayo one.
