  1. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. Happy Hump Day. I'll celebrate International Day of Happiness and Dogs in Yellow Day but an not particularly into Astrology. I like the quote but have not been to Ile de Mayotte. Two great days in history. Prayers especially for Vanessa and @Haljo1935 to find solutions to their issues as well as Chuck and many others I am forgetting. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Chilled Blueberry Soup, Filet of Beef Wellington, and Strawberry Crisp as served on MS Prinsendam March 20, 2019: I'm getting a bit distracted and not paying as much attention to the Daily as I should. Getting to be crunch time on the Fire Department tax return with the accountants. Roy
  2. @Haljo1935, I like the idea of talking with a Social Security Rep. One, other thought. Are there ways that might help you deal with your issues and still work such as a disability parking pass and or something like a wheelchair or rollator? Roy
  3. Today's sunrise is from my 2019 Prinsendam Grand South America cruise. On March 19 Prinsendam visited St. Vincent and Grenadines: Roy

  5. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. Spring doesn’t arrive here until 11:06PM and winter is hanging on for dear life. I have certainly benefitted recently from the services of Certified Nurses. Never had an International Client. I don’t know if it is today but there is a day when volunteers come in to our local elementary school and read to the younger students. Strange quote by Wilde. I have not been to Sri Lanka. I’ll celebrate Faust and the Syndey Harbor Bridge but not so much our refusal to join the League of Ntions. I’d definitely pass on at least the polenta. My alternative is Celebration of Fruit Cocktail, Breaded Pork Chop A La Milanese, and Strawberry Sundae as served on MS Prinsendam March 19, 2024: Roy
  6. Bon Voyage. Is this the day you get off Celebrity or do you have a day or two in between? Roy
  7. And the film crew doesn't complicate the delivery too much.
  8. Today's sunrise is from a 2015 cruise on Grandeur of the Seas out of Baltimore. On March 18 Grandeur visited Key West Roy

  10. I should be able to post the daily as needed in that period as well. Roy
  11. Not sure if you are actually in Baltimore City or not but you reminded me that the resumption of weekly recycling pickup in Baltimore is a cause for celebration. Roy
  12. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. My recycling day is Wednesday but I’ll sure try to add some stuff to the cart today, and to act happy doing it. I’ll pass on the Godess of Fertility, and if I talk to myself it’s usually a silent conversation. Two interesting days in ancient history and one in my lifetime. I visited Ashdod just once from Crystal Serenity in 2010, visiting Jerusalem one day and the Dead Sea on the other. The meal sounds nice but not something I would make. My alternative is Chilled Raspberry Soup, Caribbean Jerk Chicken Breast, and Apple Cinnamon Crisp March 18, 2019: Roy
  13. There's a bit of a story behind this one. I do fly but really don't like it but this is a trip that never would have occurred to me on my own. After the Serenity segment Buenos Aires to Rio I was looking for a way to get home and first considered a cruise that was available from Santiago but options for getting there from Rio were not good. The Zaandam cruise was longer and from Buenos Aires but I liked it. I lucked out with an easy flight on Emerates (my only time there) but several days still between cruises. I was originally thinking I would need to fly to Iguazu, but I had a Symphony cruise from Buenos Aires to Miami in 2016. A lady joined the Symphony in Valparaiso for the return to Miami, and joined my trivia team. She really does not fly but was touring South America with her husband. and had to get there and back. She found a Queen Mary 2 segment to Rio to get to South America and then Symphony to get back, and she described her bus travels. Conditions vary by country with some having onboard meal service and others making appropriately timed stops at restaurants, and seats resembling business class on an airplane. I would never have done this just on my own but Viator had a tour with exactly wanted so I decided that was what I would do. In Brazil, the meals are served onboard. My bus: The upper level was the deluxe class and the lower level for the equivalent of probably premium economy. This is my seat at night: Roy
  14. A very STRONG toot and Kathi with her Rollator. Thanks Leanne, Dave, and fellow addicts. Bon Voyage to all. Roy
  15. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, Dixie, and Graham/Father David. Happy Saint Patricks day, and Happy Anniversary @irishjim. Welcome home @0106. I'll celebrate Campfire Girls and Doctor-Patient trust. I wish the quote were true. I visited today's port just once on the Grandeur of the Seas out of Baltimore. An interesting group of days in history. Saint Patrick's story shows how a bad situation can evolve into good. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Classic Caesar Salad, Braised Lamb Shank, and Vanilla Ice Cream as served on MS Prinsendam March 17, 2019. The monkeys which became the voyage mascots for the final segment of the voyage were dressed for the occasion: Roy
  16. Today's sunrise is from a 2017 land trip to Iguazu between cruises on Crystal Serenity and Zaandam. On March 17 I was on a luxury bus from Buenos Aires to Iguazu: Roy

  18. Your ship has arrived and is being prepared for your arrival: Roy
  19. Not truly easy but go back to post # 21 for Sandi's method. It may vary by platform but hers is probably the most universal. It is easier for posts within the last year. Roy
  20. Bon Voyage @Scrapnana. Your ship is waiting: Roy
  21. Do you have an easy way to do that. For me, it's all trial and error. Roy
