  1. No toots. Probably a sad day even for the newly boarded at least through tomorrow in HMC. Thanks Leanne, Dave, and fellow addicts. Roy
  2. They looked like they were ready some time ago. Roy
  3. I think it's pier 21 in the basin, probably a last minute change so it would not need to squeeze by a big Celebrity ship. The terminal is between the camera and the ship. Roy
  4. This would be the perfect scene for a white truck. Wish HAL docked there more. Roy
  5. Today's sunrise is from my 2017 Zaandam cruise from Buenos Aires to San Diego. On March 23 we visited Montevideo: Roy

  7. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. Bon Voyage @lazey1 and @GTVCRUISER/ Happy Birthday @seagarsmoker. Welcome home @Lady Hudson. I believe people should be to celebrate their own beliefs and will salute Atheist Day. Cuddling a kitten sounds nice but I'll pass on the chip and dip. I like Eleanor Roosevelt's quote and the three days in history. I have not been to Madagascar. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Apple Pear and Cucumber Salad, Surf (and turf), and Almond and Orange Cake my penultimate dinner on MS Prinsendam March 23, 2019 (can it be 5 years already): Yesterday was not a goof off day. I thought I was ready to file my federal takes and everything looked fine on Turrbotax, but the IRS rejected the return and told me I was missing a form that I could not access although Turbotax said it would supply it. I don't know if I'll have time to fool with it today. Roy
  8. Bon Voyage. I can't answer the question but when you get to your cabin there should be a screen on your TV with the key officers. You'll probably need to watch the safety video before you can get to it. Roy
  9. Praying also that it was just the two and not additional crew injured. Roy
  10. Just stunning news. Wishing her a great outcome with minimal side effects. Roy
  11. Today's sunrise is from my 2015 Grandeur of the Seas B2B out of Baltimore. March 22 was a sea day from Baltimore to Cozumel: Roy

  13. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Dixie, and Ann for the TGIF report. I honestly don't feel very young, was out early and will probably be hunkered down for the rest of the day with a lot of goofing off. Who can not like daffodils. Two great days in history. I visited Falmouth just once, 2015, on the Grandeur of the Seas out of Baltimore. My town walking tour was largely the churches. In honor of goof-off day I won't be posting individual photos but will link to my blog entry for that day: https://getawaysfrom21044.wordpress.com/2015/03/28/day-15-friday-march-27-falmouth-jamaica/ I like the Cicero quote. The meal sounds nice but it should not be the whole meal. My alternative is Chilled Blueberry Soup, Broiled New York Striploin, and Mango Blueberry Crisp as served on MS Zaandam March 22, 2017: Roy
  14. Probably a better question for the British Isles Forum: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/148-british-isleswestern-europe/ Usually until at least very late with reduced service but that may vary due to local conditions, both with respect to border requirements and navigational issues. Roy
  15. Another sad fire death overnight. A 15-year-old girl died last night in a house fire about 1 1/2 miles from me. Roy
  16. Today's sunrise is from my 2014 Crystal World Cruise segment Singapore to Cape Town. March 21 was a sea day from Mauritius to Durban: Roy
