I apologize, since I'm sure this question has been asked before. Is a clothes steamer authorized to being onboard in your luggage?

We are booked on the Encore out of Athen and booked a 2 night pre-cruise stay. Has anyone had any experience with Cruise line representative not present after leaving baggage / Customs? We had a bad experience with another cruise line where no representative was present after our flight.

TK Bar on Odyssey class vessels are disappointing (too small). However, we really enjoyed TK Bar on Encore/Ovation.

We recently sailed Viking Neptune on a trans-Atlantic crossing in December. We enjoyed the Scandanavian decor and thought the service and food was comparable to Seabourn. Unlike Seabourn, cruise price on Viking does not crew gratuities or unlimited alcoholic beverages. While Viking did offer wine/beer at lunch and dinner, we chose to purchase beverage package to enjoy additional drinks on sea days and evening, before and after dinner. Viking did offer a free excursion at various port calls; however, we found that these excursions can be crowded. Viking also provided free access to the spa (minus treatments), which was nice on sea days. We found Seabourn to be a little more formal. Overall, you cannot loose choosing either Seabourn or Viking, and we intend to take a future Viking ocean cruise. However, our choice is still Seabourn.

Spent last month (July) travelling through Europe and saw very few face masks worn anywhere/anytime. In general, Americans seem to be more concerned over COVID than mst Europeans.

Facebook posts and other Cruise Critic posts stated that Seabourn vessels will dock in Fusina.

If the vessel is not register in US and not calling on a US port, then I don't believe that ADA would apply?

Is the laundry room open 24 hours a day on the Encore or only during specified hours? We are on a 14-day voyage from Athens-Athens in late August on the Encore but there are no sea days. As such, I'm trying to plan out when to get laundry done around port call times.

In attempting to follow other posts on this topic, apparently Seabourn does not provide bus or other transportation from industrial port (across lagoon) into Venice itself, unless you are on a Seabourn excursion. Is this correct? If not, does Seabourn provide bus service to any villages/towns near the port of Fusina?

How about in Venice where Seabourn no longer docks in Venice but across the lagoon in the industrial port of Fusina. Does anyone know if Seabourn provides bus service into Venice or nearby village?

Seabourn is under Holland American chain of command for CCL, with sips in the under 100 passenger range. I doubt HAL is going to compete with Seabourn.

I've deleted and reinstalled the Navigator App (Google) on my Android phone, and the app recognizes my upcoming cruise; however, when I click on the Boarding Pass button, the screen states "TOUR CHECK-IN INVALID DATE/TIME. Itinerary also will not update with dinner reservations and excursions purchase. I can printout final Boarding Pass on my laptop computer. Not sure what else to do to get Navigator App to update. H-E-L-P!!!!

We decided not to talk a tour of Alesund but rather walkabout on our own. Any suggestions on a good walking path or "must see" points in walking distance?

We should be arriving at hotel around Noon, so I doubt our room will be ready. Any ideas on what to do within a reasonable distance around hotel if we have to wait for our room? Also, any suggestion on restaurants for dinner?

I purchased package 9 months in advance on HAL website.

Our flight on March 29, 2024, does not depart BNE Airport until 10:00 PM. It does not look that Princess offers any post-cruise excursions on March 29 that take you to airport after excursion. All excursions appear to just return to ship vs. airport. Any ideas on what to do for the whole day after getting off cruise ship until late night flight?

Yes, but terminal rep did not recognize since it was not for a suite or 4/5 stars. Obviously, no one from HAL had briefed terminal staff on Club range.

We are about to go on our 3rd HAL cruise where were booked the Club Orange promotion, but only on Pinnacle Class ships since we primarily purchase it for private restaurant. One of the advertised benefits of Club Orange is priority boarding. However, on two prior cruises from Europe the terminal staff had no idea what Club Orange was, and we were simply directed to an assigned boarding group. We asked to speak to a HAL representative but to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue?

We are on the Nieuw Staten in June, and greatly appreciate your insights.
