What I found one of the issues on my cruise after this was implemented was not the actual 1 day service, but the time you were getting the service. Passengers coming back from shore and wanting to get ready for the evening only to find their room not done or in the process. I was in my room changing for the pool and asked my steward if she could come back in 15 minutes and she said she had to keep moving. As a result I went looking for towels myself at 4:30. (My steward worked in 2 different hallways)

Had the same happen to me in 2018…they were pulling a life boat off every week in Kauai and doing maintenance work on them (or related) I guess to them it sounds better like hotels saying to not wash towels every day to save the planet. Ours was last minute instead of advance notice.

Make sure you mention in advance. I purchased 2 items at the Sandbar that was NCL branded merchandise. I incorrectly assumed that it would have automatically taken off the discount, but it did not. The employee had to go through the whole process of creating a return then ringing up the item again. Sadly this also created a long line behind me since she was the only one attending the register.

I question if they were even baked. At least my experience with them a few weeks ago on the Bliss was more like steamed. Even baked could at least had a crispy skin and not the texture of raw flesh. i guess there plan with the price of chicken wings going up to extreme levels was that requests for them will significantly go down.

Keep in mind if you have any OBC, then wait till you get on the ship.

I was on the 2 weeks before and have to agree with the OP on some of her comments. She was lucky in the Haven that they didn’t have to deal with some of the crap we did. Your embarkation was bad because our debarkation was the worse ever, and just a hair worse than embarkation in Los Angeles. I started to write more about issues on my cruise and realized it was turning into a novel. Just little things kept adding up. It boils down to I just don’t trust NCL anymore.

If you are not familiar with LAX, please look at their website and procedure to get to the rideshare area. You have to take a shuttle bus to that area unless you are ordering an Uber Black or other high end service.

Just got off the Bliss the other day and I think both if mine were clear. And what they called shampoo was so watered down it was hard to even keep it from running out of my hand to get to my hair.

Need to clarify, my friend took the NCL transfer and they had to wait around for people. If you want to make a specific flight, do not use the NCL transfer. Hopefully, it will be better for future cruises, this cruise just seemed to be cursed from the start.

Was there, a nightmare….and just when I thought Embarkation in LA was bad Then a friend just texted me who had a 10 AM departure for FLL, ended up not getting to FLL till 2:30 because of all the delays.

One of the things was trying to do it after the M&G which is hard to do if we don’t know when or if that will happen.

Has anyone recently had a Meet and Greet recently on the Bliss? We sail this Friday on the 27th and no reply so far despite a few requests. We have a big group signed up. We also have a large slot pull that we were planning to go over once the Casino Host was contacted and planned on giving out that information at the Meet and Greet. Can they wait till this close to respond ?

I am also on the 1/27 Bliss cruise, and to say the lease that I am very unhappy with the changes they made basically 3 1/2 months in advance with zero explanation. We just got excursions for some of the ports very recently. There has also been a reach out to the Bliss to arrange a Meet & Greet with well over 100 attendees with no reply. We don’t even know if we will be able to step off the ship in Panama, and sounds like a total debacle in regards to the embarkation process in LA. I will have fun on the cruise because of the people I meet, but I can do that on any cruise line. Basically they have made what for many has been a bucket list trip, and turned it into a solo cup.

Bliss cruise from LA does not come to Miami till 2/11.

I think it would help if you got the dallies for the same itinerary that you are going on. Are you looking at 5 day Mexican Cruise or 15 Day Panama Canal Cruise? I think there are a few other cruise.

Anyone who has taken the shuttle service from the Crowne Plaza…do they have more than 1 shuttle? Has anyone taken their shuttle with 2 ships in port (Navigator of the Sea, Bliss)? They are both going to be at berths in opposite direction and was wondering in they combine the passengers for both ships or take them separate…..or do I just say heck and take an Uber

Right now it is between 2 or 4. Since I first asked this question I have started tracking Uber for around the time we would be going and it looks like the cost of a regular Uber may be about the same for 2 of us and an UBERXL for 4 of us. Since we are going to different hotels it may be easier to just take an UberX for 2

As a solo traveler I ask if you prefer to dine alone? I have gone to specialty restaurants with people I have met on the cruise. Also if you chose to go to the solo meetups, sometimes a good solo host will arrange dinner at one of the specialty restaurants.

I am on the Bliss Jan 27, and we finally have gotten some excursions on some of the ports this last week.

Anyone with the experience using the shuttle? There are 2 cruises leaving from the port that day. Wondering if it is easier to take an Uber over instead
