  1. Seems a lot of folks keep a kind of cruise or vacation diary. We don't. I wish we had. Seems we spend a fair amount of time trying to remember when we were at one place or another or even identifying where a place is in a pic.

  3. I'm sure that those who like to spend time online could care less, and I doubt that they would put that much effort into ridiculing your choices.
  4. We got one once for Sabatini's on a Princess cruise. We were not staying in an expensive cabin. I'm not sure why we got it. Probably a special promo or something. It isn't usual for us, but other TA's may vary.
  5. IDK, from the description, I'm pretty sure those passengers were the culprits. Anyway, I think we are all in agreement it was a dumb move whoever did it.
  6. OK. For us it depends on the cost, which varies by cruise line. If deemed too expensive we will have it for only a single device. We find Princess' current wifi pricing with our discount to be attractive.
  7. I'm going off topic here. I was bumped on 3 out of the first 4 flights I took on Lufthansa. I avoid that airline as a result.

  9. I wonder what would have happened if you had showed up for dinner. It would have been kind of embarrassing for them if they would have made them move.
  10. I think so too, about wanting a ring. I can see it now. In addition to chair hogs and dress codes, there will be threads about obnoxious ring tones. 😀
  11. I see. If he said that nobody like to eat in specialty restnts then he is obviously wrong.
  12. NO notification? The message icon shows an incoming. There is no ring or chime, which might be a good thing for our fellow passengers. I would prefer something on the Home Screen (or whatever it is called) instead of having to open the app to see a message notice. But I wouldn't categorize it as useless. Your mileage obviously varies from mine.
  13. Yeah, who knows. My "experience" is based on one cruise with the Medallion. Anyway, look at it this way. The more there are in the medallion line, the shorter your line will be!!
  14. We checked in and they handed the Medallion to us. Extra time was insignificant. People are going to be in a line either way. I'm not anticipating any real delays in the check in process in the future.
  15. I always ask the guy behind the counter if they will toast the hamburger buns for me. I wonder if they would cut a patty in half for you.
  16. Makes sense. Can the EZAir be paid in full separately ahead of the cruise fare final payment?
  17. I'm not sure I follow. Completing the Medallion app speeds up check-in more than having the Medallion in hand. I prefer to pick up the medallion. Very little time is added to check-in. And, that was my preference prior to the new $10 mailing fee.
  18. Reading about these glitches with EZAir is very disappointing. Thanks for sharing this. We will be wary if we should decide to try EZAir in the future.

  20. At least the payment reminder pasted above by Shof515 provides the final payment date. I'm curious if the emails you receive do that too? A reminder is OK and can a good thing. Being sneaky or trying to trick customers is not so nice.

  22. I think all specialty restaurants are alternative dining venues but not all alternative dining venues are specialty restaurants. 😀
