  1. Feel free to add... Room service: $11.74 ($9.95 + 18%) Addition lobster tails: $20.04 ($16.95 + 18%)
  2. Based on race stats, it’s either corporate or flat out wrong
  3. Let me ask a general question, except for prime rib, has anyone been to a restaurant claiming to serve prime and it wasn’t? All seafood, wagyu and Kobe are known to be mislabeled. Never heard of prime being mislabeled. I would never think to go to national chain like Ruth Chris, order a prime ribeye but ask the waiter “are you sure it’s really usda prime?”
  4. If you only paid $10 for the voucher for the entire sailing, def just use it; don’t think twice about it
  5. Yes but like 98% of prime beef goes to restaurants. Wagyu and Kobe are far more uncommon
  6. How do you burn extra calories while eating steak? Order it well done…ha ha
  7. MDR has prime rib (that isn't USDA prime) and beef wellington, they're both "good". Any other steak like their timeless NY strip, steak and frits or Manhattan Beef ranks from below average-bad. Obviously things will be different in a paid specialty restaurant
  8. It's very unusual, lol...Perhaps the better question wouldn't be to a specific item like beef or soup but rather "Is X false advertising any items on any of their menus?"
  9. RCI charges the same amount of $16.99 for additional tails but switched from Spiny to Maine so it is possible X followed RCI. We don't yet have (or at least I haven't seen) any lobster datapoints for 2023. Also possible each ship exhausts their old Spiny lobster stock before switching to Maine
  10. It has been answered as "yes" multiple times...Such an unusual question... 🤔 It's like asking "do you think Celebrity uses real onions in their French onion soup?"
  11. If you didn't yet add it to your card you may be SOL. If you did add it, there is a "added to card" tab
  12. Read the T&C as your assumption is doubtful based on everyone else's offers. However it does indeed exclude on board purchases
  13. Issue 1: The Buffet dinner options seems to be greatly reduced Issue 2: Specialty dining reservations can be very hard to come by once on board, lately it’s been 9pm on the last night and no other options besides getting into the no-show list. Even the no show list presents problems because they call your room and leave a VM. If you’re not in your room you’ll miss that opening. Yet whenever you walk by and peak in, it appear only half the tables are occupied
  14. Sounds like having specific binoculars is important to you, they're not that expensive, why not buy and bring some? Concierge class and Aqua class get them, according to google they are Bauer Optics 8 x 22
  15. For like 95% of us it's value, "including all fees and perks that are important to me, how much is the all in price and what do I get for it?"
  16. Still about the same price; prime is not uncommon or that expensive
  17. Unfortunately they'll do fine as the Retreat guests are immune to most of these changes and doesn't have a problem selling...For the non-suites, all cruise lines follow the same pricing strategy, as you get close to the sales date off "last minute" discounted cruise fares for the unsold cabins
  18. And X seems to be using this as an opportunity to do the following: Raise cruise fares Reduced Service/Dining staff for over a year now Menu and Buffet dinner reductions Extra fees
  19. Come to think of it, RCI first trialed this additional fee but changed from Spiny to Maine. I checked the MDR and Blu menu, no mention of the lobster type
  20. Nothing new but it’s now clear as day in the Solstice menu…2023 = the year of the extra fee
  21. Have him refresh the app, log out of the app and back in. That fixed a room update for us
  22. Look at this way, either the photographers will be there or they won't be and you'll receive a refund on any photo packages
  23. I'm simply parroting others, I didn't read too much into it. They claim the photographer crew were sub-contractors and their vendor has deemed it's not profitable enough I personally won't miss them at all but wonder what X will add in their place, if anything
  24. Nothing to lose to try multiple cards, I'd just set my expectations extremely low that you're awarded the offer twice
