They could drop prices on money saved if they would quit sending me the slick brochures at least twice a week and have done so for years.

DW now has two Coach and several Guess purses and I have a nice pair of Maui Jim sunglasses by having to use up NR OBC on the last sea day!
I've done that ....twice.

We love Maya Chan. But that Breakaway visit out of New Orleans is just a bit too short I think. Leaves too early.

The Spinnaker lounge is top forward. It's indoors but nice with big windows vis. Get to see ahead of the ship also.

If you have travel insurance, then whatever it covers should be a refund from them. I'm not familiar with NCL standard insurance. However, NCL themselves will not refund anything regardless of a medical issue. Wish you well on the knee replacement. My wife had both done and each, after two months, was like she had never had it, like new again.

I've never seen a sailing where they were not available. Just maybe not available at the time you want.

My wife caught it on the Jewel, but it was a few months ago.

Flamingo Grill on the Getaway. It was great...and free.

Cruising was about the pampered feeling once on board. Now it is more of just anxiety about what is now missing. Individually, no big loss. But collectively, it is really starting to affect the cruise atmosphere. After 25, we aren't now booked. Just don't think the cruise excitement feeling is any longer there.

DH was not happy with his first Haven burger (Getaway) last month. Mushy, greasy and tasteless burger patty, and of course the bun fell apart😒
Later in the cruise he tried again and requested they put it on the Pretzel Bun (from fish sandwich). It was a better burger but still didn't have the good burger taste he had on prior cruises. However, the pretzel bun held together. Although he loves a good burger, he is learning to try other items on that menu😉
Yea. What's the deal with NCL hamburger buns. From my first cruise forward, the buns were kind of dry and always fell apart. I frequently just ate the burger without the bun. NCL's other bakery products are always good. Can't they get a better burger bun???

That's to bad. I always liked the ships' burgers.

Do you remember which ship and where it was sailing?
It was a Spinnaker lounge that was closed. So it would have been one of the Jewel class, but can't remember which that time....a 7 day cruise.

Happened to us on one of our cruises. Disappointing. Cruise had 700 persons from some group that I now can't remember.

Seems like very very very very very minor issues. But it is your right to make it a big deal.. Better taken up with your room steward.
Actually, it is a big deal, not against the cabin stewards, but against NCL. With cruising, we expect a premium experience. NCL's staffing issues are changing a part of that and screwing the cabin stewards with too much work and not enough time, and then they unfairly catch the irritation of many of the guests because their work overload cannot provide the level of service we once experienced. Twenty five cruises and I've seen how it was and how it is now. Realizing towel animals were just a fun thing and disliked by many guests, they still provided just a moment of the happy experience that a cruise was providing.

Not good. Don't fault the cabin stewards. But NCL is changing the cruise experience atmosphere from a previously very special event to not so much so now.

As all cruise lines are. Just do a mock booking and see the "real" price. It's not rocket science.
After 25 cruises, I think I got it figured out. This was about their never sales tactics.

NCL is basically full of it with their alleged sales. I get probable 3 slick NCL brochures a week and at least 3 emails a week telling me about the hot sale that is going to expire in only a few days. It is the same wording and sales that go on week after week and year after year. True, prices do go up and down. But that is inventory driven prices, not a real "sales" event. However, they can call it what they wish.

My last two cruises the fridge was not stocked. I'm assuming too many people handling the beverages.

Don't know why Ensenada was added. It has been a quick drive to American town from S. Cal. for many years. The small port area is industrial and nothing in the area off the ship.

Although the meals are "free", the prices per item are going up, up, up. One crab cake $19 now. And that scoop of icecream $9? Is anyone actually paying for these meals?

"All items up to 40% off" . All that means is we will never discount more than that and may not discount any at all.
