  1. If you have travel insurance, then whatever it covers should be a refund from them.   I'm not familiar with NCL standard insurance.  However, NCL themselves will not refund anything regardless of a medical issue.      Wish you well on the knee replacement.  My wife had both done and each, after two months, was like she had never had it, like new again.

DH was not happy with his first Haven burger (Getaway) last month.  Mushy, greasy and tasteless burger patty,  and of course the bun fell apart😒

Later in the cruise he tried again and requested they put it on the Pretzel Bun (from fish sandwich).  It was a better burger but still didn't have the good burger taste he had on prior cruises.   However, the pretzel bun held together.  Although he loves a good burger, he is learning to try other items on that menu😉

Yea.  What's the deal with NCL hamburger buns. From my first cruise forward, the buns were kind of dry and always fell apart.  I frequently just ate the burger without the bun.  NCL's other bakery products are always good.  Can't they get a better burger bun???

Seems like very very very very very minor issues. But it is your right to make it a big deal.. Better taken up with your room steward.

Actually, it is a big deal, not against the cabin stewards, but against NCL.  With cruising, we expect a premium experience.  NCL's staffing issues are changing a part of that and screwing the cabin stewards with too much work and not enough time, and then they unfairly catch the irritation of many of the guests because their work overload cannot provide the level of service we once experienced.    Twenty five cruises and I've seen how it was and how it is now.  Realizing towel animals were just a fun thing and disliked by many guests, they still provided just a moment of the happy experience that a cruise was providing.

As all cruise lines are. Just do a mock booking and see the "real" price. It's not rocket science.

After 25 cruises, I think I got it figured out.  This was about their never sales tactics.

  5. NCL is basically full of it with their alleged sales.  I get probable 3 slick NCL brochures a week and at least 3 emails a week telling me about the hot sale that is going to expire in only a few days.   It is the same wording and sales that go on week after week and year after year.  True, prices do go up and down. But that is inventory driven prices, not a real "sales" event.   However, they can call it what they wish.
