Your crystal ball is as good as the next, which actually has no clue.

Before Covid, no. I still doubt it now. However, once you are on board with your rooms available, who sleeps in which isn't an issue as far as I've ever known. No one comes and checks birth certificates.

Two months ago, Bliss, I paid $87 for the unlimited upgrade. Of course could be only used on one device at a time. That looks like what the $114 package is now. And subtle counseling as to how I use my time on the ship, not necessary for me. We each have our respective and possibly different individual lifestyles. And get to choose accordingly.

I sure wish NCL would change the test to 3 days before instead of two. One day shouldn't make a big difference in validity of the test....and would make it soooo much more convenient. At the moment the 2 day requirement is stopping me from booking again.

I received this list from NCL in November; was in a chat with an online rep. I think there was a disconnect between what was on their website for booking, and what was on this "insider" sheet. I hope that everyone who has this issue can get the OBC as you were able to do.
I had to cancel my Joy trip in early January, now we are booked on the Dream in April. I also have the amenity spreadsheet for that ship. Since there is no Haven, the Suites have most of the amenities that are given to Haven guests.
Best wishes to all you future cruisers!!
Thanks. Looks like nothing has changed. I feel better!

Ok. I'm going to restate this for my own benefit, because I'm confused and maybe very disappointed. If, say on the Pearl or Jewel...or Dawn...I book a suite, rear deck 10 or one of the family ones port or starboard, for boarding do I no longer proceed to the room marked haven (or suite) for check-in and then snacks as I await being escorted up to the specialty restaurant for lunch? True or have I misunderstood? And, do suite guests still get specialty restaurant (previously at Modernos) breakfast and lunch privileges'? What's the facts here? I'm confused.

Jewel class, then Dawn class, then the Sun. The big ships are big and beautiful. But just don't need all of that.

I only get third party and get it through my TA when she books the cruise. The premium is about 8% of whatever part of the trip/cruise you wish to insure.

My wife is Diet Pepsi addicted. We bring on a couple of empty 16 oz Pepsi bottles. Then we get Diet Pepsi in cups, no ice from one of the bar fountains and pour it up, keep in the fridge. Cans are not included in the drink package. The price of cans has gone up and up. I can buy a 12 pack at home for their price of one can now.

I don't know if they still allow this, but on our last cruise (March 2019) I went to guest services and asked them to add the tips for the butler, concierge and steward to their on-board accounts, using refundable OBC from our TA. I wrote a thank you note to each, to thank them, and telling them about their tips in their accounts.
The rule changed about that time. Before you could use non. However, I cruised about that time also. Based on past times, I went to Customer Service and without asking, filled out gift certificates for butler and Concierge, making an assumption it could be used. Ended up it being added to my credit card account. Ended up losing about $75 left behind on my non refundable account. Wrote NCL. They said sorry, but the rules had changed and I was out of luck. Ooops, I see you were using refundable. Yea, that's fine. Not the non though.

For sailings with embarkation dates through and including January 31, 2022, all guests and crew are required to wear masks onboard while indoors, except when actively eating or drinking, or seated at a table in a dining setting, or when in their stateroom. Masks are also required outdoors when physical distancing of at least six (6) feet cannot be maintained.
as far as this read right now, mask must be worn up until 1/31. Haven’t seen anything to the contrary.
but I am sure it will change.
we are sailing 1/29 7 days, so by this we shouldn’t have to wear a mask on 2/1That date was just an initial number picked to check things now. That date can, and probably will be extended several times until the virus is contained considerably. I'm very sure, crystal ball, that on 2/1 you will definitely be wearing a mask. That's only two weeks from now.

I'll guess at, "as long as Covid is running rampant."

I decided that the hassle of giving it to security upon boarding, the effort to then recover it and then transport it home, not worth the small price savings you might find. Big city chain liquor stores pretty much match those prices.

Wow! Sucks! I know this is somewhat unexpected. But contingency plans must have already been out there for NCL ships. So bad! Can’t imagine. I was on the Bliss last pre mask sailing.

Haven is good. However, as others said it is the same menu each day. In addition to the Haven restaurant, we did Cagneys, Los Lobos, and even the Chicken Wings place one night during just a 7 day cruise. The variety was nice.

And with the current situation, all of this is subject to change many times.

Saw the group playing on the Bliss 3 weeks ago. They were fun to watch. However, I don't think they put a huge effort into their shows. Might be because it is the same thing night after night.

I don't like ones over my ears either. They constantly pull my hearing aids off. A true N95 doesn't go over the ears. It must go around the back of the neck and head. That's all I use...plus it gives better protection. KN95s go over the ears usually.

Either way you wish to go, them with you or you with them, as another said, doesn't really make any difference. The Latitudes line is frequently longer than the non. Once boarding begins, it all goes quickly.

This CDC thing is about the most important cruise issue going right now. Very important to my planning. Ever time I try to check out what’s going on with it, it’s gone.

Spinnaker Lounge and Great Outdoors. But basically you have certain preferences for cruising, type of onboard activities that make you either a big ship lover or the smaller ship lover. We prefer the small. We have no use for all that the big ones offer or the size. The Jewel class (Jade) are perfect for us.
