Just asked my TA if this could be applied to my 2024 cruise.
I'll let you know.
Assuming the offer is still good in 2024, you should be good for it since you are not past final payment. It would just be like a price drop on your room.

Does anyone know if this discount can be taken off already booked cruises?
Good question. If anyone finds out, let us know.

It's an all day experience. Get out and see it from all over the ship, different sides, different views.

Go to the NCL Sailsafe page. The rules changed again on 9/3.
Thanks.

Just found this. Says yes is sailing from US...I think. Or am I reading it wrong?
Effective for sailings 8/1/22 and beyond for cruises originating in any port EXCEPT a U.S port, Canadian port or Piraeus, Greece:
-
- All guests are exempt from all pre-cruise COVID-19 testing requirements
For cruises originating from a U.S. port:
-
All vaccinated guests must provide proof of:
- negative COVID-19 antigen within 2 days of the embarkation date or
- negative NAAT (PCR) test within 3 days of the embarkation

Ok. Yea, yea, search. Yea. I did. However, since this is so easy and y'all know stuff.....is a Covid test result required within two days of sailing now or not. I thought that was dropped. However, just booked again and NCL website says test is required. Huh!

Thanks. Ah man....my wife won't be a happy girl. No Los Lobos and no Pepsi!!!! I guess we'll just have to make do.
-
Hey, hey, does the Jewel or other ships still have a Los Lobos??? Jewel??? I didn't see it listed.
-
Just don't book Bermuda.

I agree. And the Flamingo Grill was much better and free.

Hard to figure how the Pearl's radar and the radar's collision alarm system didn't see the fishing boat. It is pretty good size. You know that was a major surprise to the fishing boat crew.

Never used one. Just pocket.

Back in December, it was easy, after going to the covid screening testing in another building. Then, through security and Haven lounge immediately, a person directing you. From there, they took care of you. When the ship was ready for boarding, you were escorted up and into the Haven area.

Wow! So sorry! It sounds like we are all headed in the Covid direction again with the new variant spreading so fast. I keep waiting for the cruise ships "masks required" to be posted again. Our neighbor just got off a cruise last week, don't know which one, but a large number on board tested positive. They put themselves in self imposed isolation for a week after getting home. Sympathy is all I can offer though.

I was in a Taco Bell recently and they had no cheese. A McD recently, no catsup. That's what I thought. Somebody run down to the local Wal Mart. But no. Crazy.
-
I gotta tell you, traveling right now just sucks. Two different neighbors this past week have had their flights cancelled with no backup. 1000 mi car rental for one. Another neighbor called yesterday and said they couldn't come to the block party we were having. They were just off a cruise and a large number of guests tested positive for Covid. They were now doing a self imposed 5 day quarantine. No, don't know which cruise line. But anyhow, just too many sad travel stories right now. And doesn't answer you question either.
-
And the Great Outdoors gives you excellent views both sides too. But yes, I was all over the ship. Have done it twice.

Would hate to leave NCL after 25 cruises, but I just can’t justify the long range advertised prices and difficult to do last minute. Might have to shop elsewhere. Do like the NCL atmosphere. Darn.

I know. It's supply and demand, and I am not being forced to purchase a cruise. But as NCL stock heads towards ten bucks, I looked ahead towards a Jan. cruise on the Dawn. We're spoiled now and really, really like a suite. The rear facing ones that I last paid $3800 for, are now listed at $7200 for two persons. I had the Haven on the Bliss last Dec. for $6100. I know. I've done this enough to understand everything. No preaching needed. But wow, damn. Oh yea. The Bliss Haven previously mentioned, just checked a similar sailing and it's just $14,781.

A full set of keys in the safe. I turned them into the front desk. A cell phone which I called the owner from at port and said I'd mail it when we got home.

Although getting to the cruise port the day before the cruise has always been a good idea, with today's airline mess that is now especially a must do idea. Fly in the day before.

Coming from a non tipping culture I find this bizzare and sad. It's the reason we will no longer travel to the US, I'll be extending that exclusion zone wider, tipping weirds me out. We're looking at Alaska in 2024, I need a few years to build up to dealing with it I also convert, never a good move.
Tipping in the US is getting outrageous. Businesses that don't provide any type service, services that have in the past been a tipping type business, servers at tables, etc, these other businesses now have on the printed receipt a place to indicate how much you wish to tip. Getting ridiculous. And this request to tip occurs before anything has even happened, like ordering a pizza at a counter to go. Tipping was supposed to be for exceptional service. Service hasn't even occurred yet.

Forget the tenders..watch for a young lady at the port right after you get there. I have never, never, in all my life....or port stops, seen such an aggressive person trying to sell something. Her product was a tiny tube of eye area cream that eliminates wrinkles in the skin. She grabbed my wife and just flat wouldn't let go. Began rubbing the cream on. I explained NO in as many ways as I could. Her response to me was, "What...you don't think I'm pretty". Actually, she was fantastic and showing much of her fantastic self with her very low cut blouse. But, I was not going to pay over a hundred bucks for a tiny tube of cream.

NCL Lawsuit
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
NCL just won a $159 million dollar lawsuit against their Azipod manufacturers. But, I actually just wanted to show the Azipoids connected with the article. These are big units!
