  1. I can’t personally vouch for this information, but I’ve read that some people on CC say the inside sideways cabins seem roomier than the others.
  2. Three days if just a hold is placed on a cabin, with no payment. Fairly quickly if no payment is mad after final payment date for a cruise already booked.
  3. There aren’t many places you can get 10% on your money these days.
  4. If you are in a suite, you can book your complimentary meal in Sabatini’s or Crown Grill on the app. It will show up as “no charge”.
  5. Something I forgot to add and hasn’t been mentioned, free distilled water for those who use a C-Pap machine. DH uses one, and I order it through the Medallion app. ahead of the cruise. It’s usually in our stateroom when we board. There’s a charge for it on some of the other cruise lines.
  6. Love the option of the Plus package. It has saved us money at the end of the day. And I’m sold on having a laundromat on board the ships.
  7. I don’t see any small bottles of alcohol, but it does say they’re made with gelato instead of ice cream. Interesting.
  8. Here’s an interesting twist I found on Princess’s site. Premium Desserts Indulge your sweet tooth each day with two Princess Premium desserts, elaborate confections overflowing with gelato, pastry and candy mixtures that will be available within Gelateria, Swirls or Coffee and Cones.

  10. We booked one of the newly listed 2024 cruises with a $100 deposit. It clearly stated the price. The web site earlier was a little wonky. Try again.
  11. It has to be our 2011 cruise on the Sea Princess from San Francisco to Sydney. We sailed in our first suite on the aft! The So. Pacific ports included Bora Bora and Moorea, and we spent several days in Sydney post cruise. We also made some lifelong friends who have since become our cruising buddies.

  14. The note on the email says it was from the Customer Relations department, but it also says that if I try to reply, the email will not be read. So, I guess anyone who tries to use it will get their email bounced back. I’m still trying to look through all my sent emails since October to see if I can figure out which one actually went through. If I find it, I will post.
  15. Good news! Our FCC of $1000 each just showed up in our Princess accounts, and I got an email from Princess confirming. Miracles do happen.
  16. I honestly don’t know, but the person who called didn’t sound like a regular Princess rep. you get when you call the main number. Some of the things she said sounded like she had more authority and experience. Wish I could be more helpful.
  17. Rick&Jeannie, hopefully we can apply the FCC to the Norway/Iceland cruise that you and we will be on in May.
  18. Apparently at least one of my emails went through, because I just got a call from Princess. The rep. assured me that someone is working on my account and that the correct FCC will be applied soon. I’ll report if/when we get it.
  19. I’ve tried emailing to every address that’s been posted, and several have been bounced back. I’ll try this latest one and see what happens.
  20. I have a similar problem, only it relates to promised FCC. On our last cruise, we encountered issues related to the smoking area on deck 7 aft. To make a long story short, after much back and forth with the Hotel General Manager, we have a letter from the Suite Experience Team stating we are to receive $1000 each FCC. Our account reflects only $100 each FCC. I’ve emailed and faxed Princess a copy of the letter with my inquiry, with no response. Short of sitting on hold with customer no service, does anyone have a suggestion on who to contact and by what method? TYIA

  23. I have the same question. It’s not clear in the email just what needs to be prepaid to get the prior pricing.
  24. Smoke from smokers and soot are two different issues. Soot on the balcony will be cleaned up by the cabin steward, they can do nothing about the cigarette smoke.
