I have been guilty of typing UDP for Ultimate Drink Package....:o

We cruised the middle of May in 2013 and 2014 from Boston. It was cool in Boston, beautiful (low 80's) in Bermuda. It was sweatshirt weather leaving Boston at that time. Both cruises were very windy on the trip back and you could hardly walk outside.

I think "demanded and then took over the Atrium" is more like it :D

We watched Monday night football in October on our cruise on the Dawn in Pearly Kings.....

I have been on the Dawn May, 2013, May, 2014, October 2014 and will be on in January, 2015.....There might have been lights out on the elevators or chipped paint on our balcony railing, we never noticed. The rug seemed fine in our mini suite 11012 in October and no problems with our suite 11020 and adjoining mini 11022 in May. If there were, we didnt notice.

:( Bummer, I had such a great time at GSC, I was really looking forward to your review of it!! We did take the eco boat tour, kind of a much older crowd, and jet skiing, so much fun!!

When we left Nassau on the Dawn, the Disney ship had left right before us. There must have been alot of people feeding the birds, as soon as we hit a certain spot, the birds started dive bombing me on our balcony, I was taking pictures of Atlantis, when all of a sudden, I was swarmed!! It was like a horror movie!! :eek:

We stayed in 11020 on the Dawn two years in a row. (same week). On our last cruise, we booked a mini-gty and wound up in 11012....I booked another mini-gty for our cruise in January and we were just assigned 11080, a little further down the hall, but I am sure we will love it!!

I got a longer cruise on the Norwegian Spirit due to Hurricane Lee but that had nothing to do with Boston cruising. She was sailing out of NOLA at the time. I loved her so much when they put her down there I followed her. Now the Spirit is coming back but to Port Canaveral. Anyway, being diverted is awesome! At least you didn't go north!! :eek::eek:

No kidding, heading to the cruiseport we weren't sure if we were going to the Bahamas or Canada!! There were lots of Canadians on the cruise, a big sigh of relief was heard when they announced Nassau and Great Stirrup Key!!

I have always wanted to take a Boston to Bahamas cruise. Got my wish in October when we were diverted due to Hurricane Gonzalo!

The difference in the family suite and what I paid for a mini (for two) is now about $400, if we are able to upgrade to a full suite we would get $200 OBC, UBP and UDP, would definitely be worth a phone call to ask. If we can, we can, if we cant, we cant.

I checked this morning and the prices haven't gone up for my cruise. I am booked in a mini suite and I am going to call and try to upgrade to a suite. Not sure if I will be able, I cruise in a little over a month....Cant hurt to ask, right?

We were on the Dawn in May and October. They carried NFL games in Pearly Kings on Sunday, Monday and Thursday nights. That also where they showed MLB games. That probably where they will have the bowl games.

We were on a diverted cruise due to hurricane Gonzalo. We definitely saved money, we only had 2 port days and one of them was Great Stirrup Cay where the drinks were included.

So very sorry. We took my dad on the Dawn in May 2013. He had Parkinson's and dementia. He started with hospice in March of 2014 and passed about three weeks later. God bless...

We had flowers in our suite on the Dawn in May. In October we weren't in a suite, but we saw the butlers delivering flowers to the suites before we sailed.
