  1. Yep that sounds like Nassau.

So different from Bermuda!! I was nervous in Nassau, have never been nervous in Bermuda!!

Really rough seas today and last night!! I went to bed about 10....Scott met up with some new friends and had a great night.

Hoping the seas calm down....I live in Weymouth, Ma and just read that they are having a terrible storm!!

  2. Nassau was well...Nassau.....We walked around a bit....found Dunkin Donuts :D

Opened Senor Frogs, did way too many shots...It is a real fun place for the "partying" crowd.....

Hated the pushiness of the vendors....

Saw a dead rat in the road....Some random guy offered to sell Scott weed or coke.... Time to get back on the ship. So we hung out at the pool on the ship for the rest of the day!!

Yesterday was Great Stirrup Cay....We were on the first tender. We took the Eco boat tour. It was ok....saw some marine life.....The guide was great. Then we went jet skiing...Oh my God!! It was tons of fun!! I rode my own. It was my 2nd time...The first was this past may in Bermuda. There wasnt a wake zone so we were able to go, go, go!! I kept up and wound up being #3....Which is good for me.

  3. Last night we went to Jose and Patti's "American Graffitti" show....IT WAS GREAT!! People were lined up everywhere to see them....Awesome entertainers!! We saw the illusionist, David DaVinchy, was extremely impressed!! We are almost into Nassau...Cant wait!!

Heard we are getting 67 OBC each to offset port charge differences, not sure if thats true, havent checked yet....So glad we got the UBP, it can be used on Stirrup Cay....

Havent won at all in the casino....:(

Mr Sexy Legs contest at the pool was a hoot....

    Have a great day, everyone!!

  4. What a great idea about donating back the OBC!!

Woke up to a really rocky ship. I almost missed the meet and great due to seasickness!! Met really really nice people and members of the staff....The captain, cruise director and a bunch of others.....Ate breakfast and lunch in the buffet....Just left Moderno....AWESOME dinner and the wait staff is great!!

We were going to do the pub crawl, but there were so many people we just hung out at Topsiders all day.

    Off to the show!!

  5. So we purchased the UBP....We are going to be on the ship every night, pretty sure we will get our money's worth!! We went to the welcome aboard show, it was great...Very talented entertainers on this ship!! I was surprised so many people didnt know that we may be rerouted..... Miss being a "suite" passenger...We ate dinner at Cagneys last night, both of us had the lobster and shrimp pasta dish, it was DELISH!! We may try moderno tonight...Chips Ahoy (the best bartender in the world in Pearly Kings) is on vacation, and when he comes back he is going to The Breakaway...:(...we were very disappointed to hear that!! Our Meet and greet is at 11 today....

    Have a great day!!

  6. No 2-1 drink specials, but we were recently on the Pearl and the $15 martini flight tasting is a deal! 6? smaller martinis and then I won a free full-size martini at the end for answering a trivia question.

I think I will check out the martini tasting!! But after 6, I probably wouldnt be answering any questions correctly!!

  7. We live just outside of Saint John NB (Canada). We get a lot of cruise ships in the port that are trying to get away from storms. We have been told that this storm will be going south of NS so we will not feel anything from it. It will not surprise me if you end up here. The temp today is 20c so roughly 68f so not so bad.

Thats not too bad!! Maybe we will see you in a few days!!

  8. ^This is the issue. The issue isn't us running into the storm in Bermuda. Looking at the radar and timing of the storm, it appears that we would have no problem dodging the storm. The whole point is, what type of shape will Bermuda be in. First, and foremost, I wish the people of Bermuda luck with this, I hope everyone remains safe. I really hope we end up in Florida/Bahamas, and not Canada. Time will tell...

I refuse to pack for Canada...I will be the middle aged woman shivering by the pool if we do go north!!
