Making healthy food choices on a cruise ship is no different from making healthy food choices anywhere else. In some ways, it's easier on a ship, because there is always fresh salad. Build your own from the fresh ingredients, and make smart choices about the dressing. (use oil & vinegar; their other dressings are thick and gloppy). Choose plain meats and vegetables for meals. Ask your waiter not to put the bread basket on the table.

I took my grandchildren on their first cruise last year. Their parents are D+, and now they are, too. Is this horrible? When they grow up, and are considering their vacation choices, don't you think that they are going to be more inclined to book a Royal Caribbean cruise because of their D+ status? This is actually how Loyalty Programs are meant to work. 🙂
