  1. We were on Eclipse in Sept/Oct. Service in Luminae was very good. Assistant waiter G was great. Our somm was ok. He was better after a couple of days. The ribeye was horrible.
  2. Photo of the Seafood Tower from S Class ship a number for years ago. There was a charge years ago. I dont remember any fee for the Tower when we last ate at The Porch. On the E Class ships Raw on 5 have oysters in their The Imperial Tower, cost $70.
  3. Exclusive services and amenities Exclusive access to The Retreat Unlimited access to the Adults-Only SEA Thermal Suite on Edge Series Unlimited access to the Adults-Only Persian Garden on Millennium and Solstice Series 2 Yoga mats & In-room fitness amenities Full In-Suite Menu (Breakfast and Dinner) featuring clean cuisine from Blu https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/staterooms/suite-class/aqua-sky-suite
  4. We only sailed on the Edge once. Apex next June. After the limited menu in Luminae on the E class ships, I'm dreading having dinner in Luminae.
  5. I dress smart casual every evening. Most evenings we dine in Luminae. EVENING CHIC Each itinerary features one to two “formal” nights we call Evening Chic. Evening Chic means you dress to impress, glamorous and sophisticated in your own way, with a cocktail dress, skirt, slacks, or designer jean, an elegant dress top or blazer—some guests even pack a tuxedo or gown for onboard photos. The Daily program, delivered to your stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the correct attire each evening. If you do not wish to participate in Evening Chic, Smart Casual attire is acceptable for dining and theater.
  6. If I remember correctly. The Silhouette and Reflection have a area called The Hideaway. The Hideaway has a coffee station on deck 7 or 8. Book your cabin near The Hideaway coffee station.
  7. We were just on Eclipse last month. We dined one night in Murano. The Chateaubriand for 2 was really good. If they have cold water Lobster onboard they will prepare it table side. They hold back early dining times for suite guests. Once onboard go to Murano's. Mention your anniversary. While you both might want to dress up. Do so if you want. All X specialty restaurants are Smart Casual.
  8. We stayed in 1114 and 1116 on Summit. Cabins were fine. Very little overhang on the balcony. Photos from Summit.

  10. Yes, you can change one name only once. Others will have more details.
  11. Were just off Eclipse Oct 1st. Your photo is what our rib eye looked like in Luminae. About half that thickness and very tough.
  12. We were in 1622 on the same cruise. Remember the pilot for Astoria coming in by helicopter. A friend sent me this photo.
  13. Yes your right I was thinking S Class. Connie has 2184 to 2559 guest.
  14. On X we book AquaClass or Sky Suites. The Constellation (Connie) is a M Class ship with about 2800 guest. AquaClass gives you a smaller dining restaurant called Blu. Suites guest can dine in Luminae. Connie does have limited pay specialty dining restaurants. I'm sure Connie could use an update, but overall she should be in good shape. Sun Princess will give you more food options and a much newer ship. My question to you is. Is this cruise more about Dubrovnik, Koper, Split. Or is it more about what the ship has to offer.
  15. Just checked with a friend getting on Eclipse tomorrow. She said Rose went home Oct 1.
  16. My MIL came down with Covid. She shared her V1 with her sister. We all had booster shots about 4 months ago. Out of the 4 of us only my MIL came down with Covid. She only has a scratchy throat. I had salmon twice dining in Luminae. DH had the turkey main entrée from the MDR, also the chicken parmesan with spaghetti. Both were very good. I know I will order the chicken parmesan with spaghetti next time.
  17. Yes, the good thing was we just walked off the ship in LA. No immigration/customs.
  18. I dont know where she went. His name starts with Mar??? He has been with X for years.
  19. I did not do a move up. My favorite sky suites on S Class were changed to Aqua Sky Suites. So I've started to book SC on the S Class ships. I'm not going to pay for something I wont use.
  20. I dont remember when. She might have gone home Oct 1st. I know she was going home out of LA and not going to South America with Eclipse.
  21. I booked a 7 night cruise in a CS for Alaska on 12/12/22. Cost was $12,401.28. With all 4 perks. The OBC is $800. Looked today at the same cruise. With the 40% off and no OBC. I did add tips. The cost today is $12,806.42.
