  1. Last year we sailed on Millie Seward to Vancouver. Great cruise. We had 2 days in Seward before our cruise. I called Hertz in Seward and booked a car one way. Last year Hertz was the only car rental that was doing one way bookings. There was an $250 fee for one way bookings. Hertz in Seward is walking distance from the cruise ship. We stopped and did the Alyeska Resort Aerial Tramway. Photos from Millie in Alaska, sunset and Hubbard Glacier.
  2. 3. Here is the pdf for drink packages. https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/Celebrity-Cruises-Beverage-Packages.pdf
  4. I have seen cigars in the shop at sells spirits. I think they also sell them at the Sunset Bar.
  5. You might have better selections on ships that have Craft Social. https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/eat-and-drink/bars-and-lounges/craft-social https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/Celebrity-Cruises-Beverage-Packages.pdf
  6. Sunset Bar Port side smoking section from one of the S Class ships.
  7. If you dine in Blu on E Class ships. Can you order off the MDR menu in Blu.
  8. I was very disappointed with our E Class cruise back in 2019. Limited food choices in Luminae. We will be sailing with friends on Apex in June 2024. I've done more homework this time. If Luminae does not serve Prime Rib. I'll dine in Fine Cut Steakhouse or MDR one night. I'm hoping Raw on 5 will be open on a port day for lunch. E Class Luminae should have more items on their menu. Items only available on E Class ships.
  9. I've been booking 2 holiday now. Sept cruise out of Vancouver BC the hotel we like is up $300 per night. Our Christmas land trip. British Airways has added an Carrier imposed charge of $1700 pp for business class seats. Other airlines are doing the same.
  10. I was involved in a lean process. We documented the process in detail. Then the work was moved to Mexico. Then after a few years moved to China. If employees could not find different jobs at that location they were assigned jobs 40 miles away.
  11. We start off with breakfast at 7am in our suite. Coffee, fruit and small croissants. Then off to Luminae about 8:30. After Luminae we go to the CC breakfast for another snack and drinks. 10 am if a sea day we check out the casino.
  12. We normally book sky suites. We have the butler bring us breakfast each morning at 7am. Coffee, fruit and smaller croissants. Friends have had their butler do a set up for G&T. They dont call the butler and asks for drinks. We have been to 3 parties in suites. They were all on Millie. One in a sky suite and the other 2 times were in the PH. The 1st PH party was pre Revolution and the 2nd was post Revolution. It was nice to see the changes. SS party was appetizers, wine, soda. The PH had the appetizers from Sushi on 5. I do know the last 2 parties they were not charged a fee. Personally I will fill my own bath water. While I think it a waste of water. Some have their butler fill the jacuzzi on the RS deck.
  13. In the past with anytime dining. I have had our TA make the reservation for us. We had the same table every evening.
  14. I have my TA link our reservations. I check both cabins in though my app login. Check in opens about 43 to 45 days before your sailing.
  15. Check out the video. Imperial Seafood Tower is $90. The menu is shown near the end.
  16. With all the changes X has been making. I'm hoping it is a good thing for us. At least when it comes to booking a suite. Food not sure yet 😱. I'm hoping more suites will be available to book closer to sailings. For those of us that will sail in Aqua or Suites. Book Aqua and wait see what is still available closer to sailing. When it comes to what the policies are with X. There is always an exception to most policies. Have a good travel agent. I have for over 20 years.
  17. We are one and done with AZ also. I liked the dress code, but the ship is just to small for us.
  18. Recovering alcoholic, religious request, or medical issue that doesn’t allow guests to consume alcohol. – A Zero Proof drink package will be added. https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/CEL_Beverage_Package_FAQs.pdf
  19. I agree with you 100%. Our situation is DH likes the MDR menu over Luminae. E Class Luminae to me is more like a loud Bistro. I like my cabin center to aft. I will not book any suite above a sky suite on E Class as higher suites are all forward. Friends book Apex for June 2024. We decided to join them. Give E Class one more try. I wish that X had put Eden forward and Luminae and suites in the aft end. X would have less complaints about no forward views for non suite guest. We could order off the MDR menu. Eden could have had its own kitchen.
  20. I remember Azamara having a White Night party when they were owned by Royal.
  21. We have done 1 sailing on the Edge, 7 night in a suite. Apex next June 2024, 11 nights with friends in suites. I did not like the Edge, but going give it another try. I hope Raw on Five are open on port days. Looks like the Imperial Tower is $90 and looks great. I'll eat the tower myself.
  22. A group 10 is large for Blu. The 1st day you might want to talk to the maitre d in Blu if you all want to dine together.
  23. When it comes to the M Class ships in general the only balconies that can be opened are on deck 11 A1's. These cabins were added to M Class ships after Solstice was built with the new style of dividers. Along with Blu. Blu was cut out of the MDR. Photos from Summit.
  24. I remember X making some changes. I'm not sure if this link is current. It is a start. https://www.justtraveldeals.ca/celebrity-cruises-specialty-restaurant-pricing-just-for-children#:~:text=Kids ages 6-12 will, under will dine for free.
