  1. Last Nov we did Solstice out of LA with a day in Ensenada. I showed my seapass card and US driver license to get back on the ship. Depending on the country I'm visiting. I might bring a photo copy of my passport with me while in town.
  2. From my research Aquasky suite on M Class ships about more $500 pp and S Class ships about $1000 more pp.
  3. Remember 6132 is now an AS ( AquaSky Suite) with large balcony.
  4. The last I knew you must call the CC number to get the discount before your cruise.
  5. Yes, if you ask. They have blown pieces. Normally on top of the Glass Annealing Oven. I've bought one.
  6. I've made 6 pieces. Great fun. I'll be doing 2 more this Sept. Check out the thread below.
  7. We have only sailed on Edge once. That sailing we were in a sky suite. My dislikes are. Luminae has limited food choices and noisy. Edge Retreat does not have a real bar. Retreat sundeck had limited shade. Retreat sundeck bar seating area. Not a nice area for lunch on port day when it rains as you get wet. Yes we got wet. Luminae not open on port days for lunch. Friends booked Apex for Iceland. We decided to join them and give E Class suites another try. Apex does have a bar in the Retreat Lounge.
  8. I would talk to X or your TA. See photo with sky suite adjoining balcony or inside cabin. My understanding is that these cabins are what you need. Booking together and paying an extra charge for access to the Retreat and Luminae.
  9. If I remember correctly. The angle balconies aft of the elevators. The more aft the bigger the balcony. You need to think about if you want the bed by the balcony or near the closet. One of my favorite angle balcony are cabins 2105, 2107 or 2109. Right out to the pool and up one level for drinks and snacks.
  10. Do you have E-Doc's. Luggage tags seem to be on the 2nd to the last page.
  11. I had the Luminae burger in Luminae. No top bun for me also. We also had lunch on a port day on the Edge. I ordered 2 shrimp and 2 chicken Caesar wraps. Portions on the small side back in 2019. Had lunch last year on a port day in Alaska at the Retreat sun deck on Millie.
  12. I want both. Thanks for calling me young.
  13. I looked at car services and taking the bus. There were four of us. Our one way 24 hour Hertz car rental was $563.10. With in that price was $250 for one way drop off.
  14. I wood like the unvarnished railings over gray metal railings. Nice to see X is re-varnishing verses replacing with metal railings
  15. https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/5_15_23_Suite_Percentage_Deposit_FAQs.pdf 11. HOW DO THESE CHANGES APPLY TO FUTURE CRUISE BOOKINGS? Future Cruise bookings will follow the new program of 10% deposit per suite. For Book Later bookings, guests will need to pay the additional deposit requirements if converted into The Retreat.
  16. Mer Sol is my go to wine. Last year I heard X was having problems getting Mer Sol. So I brought my own. The sommelier in Luminae said they were down to only a few bottles. Lucky for me they had loaded more Mer Sol on the ship in Seattle.
  17. LOL, I have X stock, just the required 100 shares. I made final payment on our Sept cruise. I had forgot about the OBC. Thanks
  18. Question: What movie is the line. "all my money is tied up in cash." As CD rates are much higher now 4% to 6%. Does that not offsite some of the higher cost for cruising.
  19. One other factor to consider. M Class ships have limited specialty restaurants. So if your booking a Royal Suite or above you have specialty restaurant dining included in your booking. E Class ship has more specialty restaurants.
  20. When booking a suite. Overall I like the M Class best. When sailing Asia or Alaska I like M Class. If I'm sailing where it is sunny, Med or Caribbean I like S Class ship. I only book E Class for itinerary. E Class Luminae has a limited menu. Other class of ships you and also order off the MDR menu. This is not the case on any E Class ship.
  21. Celebrity has been changing the libraries in to inside cabins on some ships. Here is a photo of Celebrity Edge's library. I seem to remember someone saying the cart is gone from the Edge now.
  22. While we do give additional tips when warranted. I've never had staff talk to us about tips. What I hear from staff is you must give us a 10 on the survey. Our room attendant got additional tip for going out of their way to make a nice birthday cruise.
