Does the Spirit gave Dive In movies or are they shown in the theatre? I know there are some of each in this class.

I’ve gotten them from the steward in the past. Also make sure if you bring one with you it doesn’t have a foil cutter on it. Some (not all) of the security people will confiscate it forces that. I lost one that way.

Also if you pour your glass of wine I. Your cabin you will not be charged the corkage fee. If you take the bottle to the MDR you are supposed to be charged but I’ve heard they sometimes skip it. $25 (I think). I know some lines charge the fee just to carry it on.

I found out yesterday that Frankie is scheduled to be on the Pride for my 10/30/22 TA and was wondering about him since I haven’t heard anything. I don’t interact with any CD much but still enjoy hearing about them. Any thoughts?

I do not have a fan recommendation, but I did just read that starting in July Carnival will no longer be providing fans unless needed for a medical reason.

That’s good to hear. I’m sure it is up to each ship how they handle the staffing issues.

I believe at least for June this was one of the temporary changes due to crew shortages. I have heard of it on most, if not all ships this month.

I was also denied for a short very cheap cruise in January. But I have been approved for every one since then.

I completely agree! We cruised with our kids age 6-18 and they were only on the Magic once, everything else was smaller. Still was always their first choice for vacation.

We also booked directly with White Pass in 2014 on the Miracle. I checked just this week to see if it is possible to book the Yukon excursion through them yet and it is still saying cancelled for the season.

Same here. I don’t thinK I’ve ever waited for final payment. I have mine for everything booked through July 2023. ETA - I would guess people who live closer to ports and have flexible schedules may book closer to sail date so they would have less time to request the credit.

I’ve been cruising with Carnival since 2009(with kids until the last 3 years) and do not remember ever seeing fruit punch in the machines but I may have forgotten very early cruises. The only thing in the machines at breakfast is orange, passion orange guava (my hubby’s favorite), and maybe cranberry(??). Maybe some call the POG punch since it’s a mixture?

No it is entirely different. They no longer have the fruit punch option in the buffet, just lemonade and tea after breakfast. The punch I’m referring to is made with juices from the bar that are not fresh squeezed but definitely better than the juice concentrate available in tge buffet at breakfast. It’s like the cartons of Minute Maid or whatever you can buy at the grocery store. You can also just get glasses of the juice not just the punch. That was just an example.

As stated above it is not the fresh pressed juices. The juices at the bars are not included for everyone. The main reason my sons get the bubbles package is for the fruit punch from the bar.

Just to clarify, were you able to take wine AND alcohol to your cabin or check in for pickup when you debark? Also was alcohol allowed at embarkation as well as ports? We are hoping to purchase port while in Lisbon prior to our cruise but weren’t sure if we would be able to board with it.

We were on the Miracle just before the 2020 dry dock and were told that was the plan at that time.

I know this has been the case in past years but I am hoping someone who has sailed Carnival this year will be able to verify it is still the same. I did see the post above verify wine at ports other than embarkation so hopefully someone else can share their experience with other alcohol. I do realize it is very early in the season so might take a while for this answer.
