  1. Just because they offered does not indicate a contract. We will never kno who has it doesn’t have a contract with regent.
  2. Itamatrix gives you multiple ways to search. You are flying what is called open jaw. You need to search multiple flights not one way and not round trip as neither work for open jaw. You will see pricing for multiple airlines as well as both directions and thus you will be able to see using different airlines as well as a single airline so you will see all kinds of combinations. Thus only gives you an idea of regrnt might offer as regent has contracts that you can’t see anywhere sometimes a single airline will have the lowest price while sometimes multiple airlines have the lowest. No rhyme or reason. Hope this helps but you only know for sure once regrnt responds.
  3. While your question about air fare credits is quite logical it is incorrect. Cruise fares including air are identical no matter where in the US your home airport is so credits are the same for each cruise no matter your airport is. Doing it as you suggested would require hundreds or thousands of different cruise fares and credits my thoughts are that regent calculates cruise fares and credits based on averages of costs from mid America thus savings and cost vary depending on where you live and air fares from your location. Some people win and some lose depending on your home airport and cruise embarkation location. YMMV
  4. You or your ta need to ask regent as it differs depending on the cruise location believe you are traveling on a cruise from ant to the US and that used to be $300 pp to add you actually can get the number. Go tyo your cruise on the regent website and make a oretent booking with sir and without sir. The difference is the air credit no matter the location.
  5. Transfer airport to hotel no transfer hotel to ship yes cruise ship to airport no upgrade depends on airline policy. All domestic flights economy. Credit for not taking air yes. Assume concierge or above and credit for that as well. In us likely your hotel credit will cover hotel and transfers so good to decline hotel
  6. Munich to FCO is within the EU so not international. Munich is a large airport and 2,different airlines so may or may not be in same terminal. Best is to Google the Munich airport website to see which terminal each airline is. Your luggage will transit and you will transit so no security issues if same terminsl
  7. Don’t necessarily have to be on the same airline. Being in the same alliance also works quite often.
  8. You have to check with the air line. Depends on the class of the ticket as economy isn’t enough as many different fare classes an airlines differ in that policy.
  9. Yes there are wet landings. Boots are included wore my waterproof pants but never needed them. Some ports we anchored and zodiacs used to get to shire. No tender usage. They will tell you if a wet or dry landing. Never needed the waterproof pants but never know fir the future there are guided hikes don’t believe they were fo 5 hours. Longest I remember was about 5K
  10. Those are some of the questions I would have expected. And Nadalya herself at the end stated that she and the rest of the executive team expected different types of questions. Akso I am aware other town halls had tough questions.
  11. Well actyy it ally title is back to CD. Not the CEO but president Nedalua and her executive team. No CEO fir Seabourn. Not sure what you mean by recognition. She snd the team ate around participating snd talking to people and at functions. I attended a Oresidents dinner snd wine tasting for 20 people. Even had a town hall. No hard questions asked. Really like Nadalya.
  12. Cd is Brian who is new to seabourn. Now on second cruise and not very good IMHO. HOPEFULLY will be better on next cruise.
  13. Are you sure about 3 weeks. Believe it will be 2 weeks as I am boarding today back in Reykjavik in 2 weeks then again in 4 weeks so change over is 2 or 4 weeks.
  14. Believe you are good until 8:30 and if not room service is 24/7 and you can order from the restaurant as soon as you get back so no need to change.
  15. Couple of reasons for me. Don't forget we need to get to Reykjavik on commercial flights so the roller carryon serves the flights those flights and must haves. Second is that we are limited to 50 lbs total for checking up to 2 suitcases on the charter so this adds to the amount we can get to the ship. Some of us are on board for 29 days. Since they have stated that our cheeked bags will go from the shore separately likely on zodiacs as well if a problem they can put the carry on with the checked bags as no plae other than the ship for these to go. Glad you asked as now I will put a Seabourn tag on my carry on so it can be delivered to my suite.
  16. Yes that’s the port I couldn’t spell or pronounce
  17. I can’t pronounce or spell the port. It is in NE Greenland a village of 500 people with a world war 2 runway. We transfer via plane from Reykjavik in 6/18 to this village without a docking area. Sure you can find this port it is in the 6/18 presidents cruise. people will disembark via zodiacs snd return to Reykjavik as well. This occurs several times this summer.
  18. Believe in the multitude of emails for the past week or so all carryons will go with you on your Zociac while the hold luggage will be transported separately and meet you in your suite. My carryons will include a small rollaboard a personal item and my medical device and I have documentation from Seabourn that that is permitted.,
  19. Interesting am on the President's cruise starting in little over a wee. Was able to complete the preferences list several months ago on the Source App but, not on any browser. Got a phone call about a week ago asking what my preferences were. Told her I had cocmplete the preferences but, she could not find it so remembered and gave verbally my preferences. Later looked on the source app and preferences were still there. A complet mystery why the seabourn IT is so horrible. Can't get anywhere with chrome on my computer but, Firefox works fine. We'll see if my preferences are there when I board in Greenland a wee from Sunday but,, who's counting the days and hours.
  20. Wait lists are likely not the problems. Everyone is missing the point that guarantees have to be accommodated to liely it is finding suites for guarantees thus the ones geting the offers are those in categories that have people with guarantees and n place to sleep.
  21. It’s intentionally vague. I read several boards of different cruises lines and that is basically how most cruise lines explain changes. it’s the old if I tell you I have to kill you.
  22. Weill, Seabourn has finally changed the East Greenland Experience to the SE Greenland Experience for the President's cruise on June 17 to match the other changes. They have also made some other changes dropping a port, adding others as well as changing some of the Port times. Revised excursions are promised ;in the next 2 weeks just one week before boarding. They state that they are refunding excursions for the deleted port however I see that there were no excursions in that Port anyway. Still very much looking forward to this upcoming experience.
  23. Got the following in writing back from my excellent TA today in writing. Guess we all are going to have to struggle to meet the weight requirements. Hi Dave, Unfortunately the allowances are due to landing requirements in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. See below in writing from Seabourn: Yes, what is stated on the confirmation is correct, "50LB/23KG PER GUEST/2 BAG PER GUEST MAX". For checked bags, each guest may check-in up to 50lbs either all in 1 bag or dispersed amongst 2 bags. Each guest may also bring a carry-on with them on the plane. Completely understand their line of thinking but these baggage allowances were not created by Seabourn nor by how much luggage the aircraft can normally accommodate but by total weight restrictions placed on the operation in order for the plane to safely land at the landing strip in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland.
