  1. It should be Heiki. Both captains are listed and they generally switch off unless someone is assigned a different ship.
  2. @CanadianBurger, no doubt you will advise us of your cabin category and location. Have a good time.
  3. Agree. A set of pictures or video ought to include cabin number and category.
  4. Inexplicably, they seem to have deep-sixed that notion. Perhaps they decided that there is less formal clothing being worn to get all smoky? Clearly, the NS nights were not being held for guest health reasons or they would have no justification to allow smoking on other nights. This will only change with dog-on-a-bone lobbying.
  5. A $400 persists a bit for the cabanas (as opposed to $500). It maybe just one source. But another poster (sorry forget which one, or I would credit), suggested there may be a price break on the cabanas as well on port days. So, it might be $400 port days and $500 sea days? Anything on that in your info stream?
  6. How true. Cloudy Bay is about $29 at Total Wine these days and $44 CAD at Ontario's LCBO Vintages stores/sections (government owned/controlled). Certainly not near $100. The last menu price I have for Cloudy Bay on Princess is $84 and then $99 with the gratuity. Much cheaper to BYOB and pay corkage if you have to.
  7. Nothing to sign anymore on Princess. Medallion scan/tap is it.
  8. That person is not a current PCL Captain. I am not overly experienced, but I don't even recall the name. I think you have to go back to when Regal launched almost. A very old press release: https://www.princess.com/news/backgrounders_and_fact_sheets/factsheet/Regal-Princess-Senior-Officers.html
  9. In that vein, let's once again say "Bye Bye" to this thread.
  10. Hello, Mr Van Winkle. We have a single sticky thread at top of Page 1 for a key personnel. And more, when you count the photo boards.
  11. I think you are on to something there. I do recall seeing yesterday a post about sea day $100 (okay, you-dont-fool-me $99) and $80 for port days. I can see them knocking $100 off the cabana price for a port day.
  12. I would not fancy that walk in June in South Florida.
  13. HEY!!! Who's stealing Sanctuary loungers and placing them on their balcony???!!
  14. I wouldn't advise holding breath waiting for too long. Although this one seems more serious if it leads to PCL having to confer unintended benefits, some sort of booking system bug is preventing guests from booking only 2 passengers in a mini-suite or deluxe balcony in many situations across Royal Class ships. Seems to have been going on for a while with no explanation from PCL.
  15. To a certain extent, I follow your main point. However, PCL is limited in adding more Signature eligibility because those exclusive amenities all have practical and actual capacity limits. If they were to make a bunch more Signature cabins, they would create a big bunch of complaints about ability of eligible guests to gain access.
  16. They fell for the Jedi marketing trick and saw the first digit and missed or forgot about the 99 following the 4. $500 has been confirmed more than once it seems.
  17. Yes, it could certainly cause a mix-up if the real Enchantment was in the port.
  18. Oh, I knew very well what you meant, but couldn't resist a friendly poke.
  19. 🤣. (I was thinking you hadn't had your coffee yet - or something).
  20. Oh, I would also believe that the phone screen version of website booking could have differing text info displayed. It's probably something like Whack-A-Mole to change all the references.
  21. Not really a dope at all. Most of us have sailed from there and when you mention pier 21 and pier 2, it is pretty obvious in my book.
  22. Are you just pointing out another website page that has not been updated? It's funny - well funny sad - but I just checked a voyage where you can find a D0 for sale to select on one deck and on another deck, you get the sold-out message you displayed above. The actual sale you can complete states nothing about Signature benefits, but the sold-out message still has it there. It's an obvious oversight IMO. I wonder if this situation is like a grocery store that can have an "out" if they accidentally advertise an incorrect price in a flyer. Whatever, seems pretty clear @cruisedoctor's explanation fits better than anything else I have read.
  23. This is certainly true. Not sure anyone suggested otherwise. But you do make it clear. It also doesn't matter what fare package people booked under. Anyone with a 4-device plan can share the Internet access with family/friends - all anyone needs is the cabin and birthdate to use. IMO the App is worthwhile on board. It use ship's Intranet and doesn't require an Internet package to be used.
  24. Still, though, it takes working $54,000 to amass 18,000 points!! 🤪
  25. But aren't those employees of ONE and not Princess? So, they only know what they are fed and perhaps a memo had not gone out? With Princess, misinformation is always possible, especially with non-employees.
