  2. Short of using a TA, I would contact Princess and get with a CVP (Cruise Vacation Planner). I bet you ended up with the overseas call center where you can end up with misinformation. 21 is the drinking age for most voyages. It might help to have a letter from the other teen's parents that they are authorized to travel with you. However, it really is no big deal to swap cabins on board. There is also no issue in ordering Plus Fare package on board day 1. Besides, any OBC you have goes towards paying for it and you will get $10 rebated for not having Medallion mailed. Of course, make sure the people are swapped in the System before ordering. You can also order the Medallion Net for teens, but I would simply upgrade your include package to a 4-device package and then the teens can login. Everyone will always have one connection and if anyone has a second device, you just bump off the original.

  6. I, for one, never expected anything different. New software does not fix old data. Corrupt data has been a bug-a-boo since the App was launched in June, 2021, and they really have not straightened out all of those problems. If they focused on that, they would improve things hugely IMO.
  7. Most people I have read about with this issue have reached out to the App support team. I would not count on a software update to correct an individual data issue (although yours seems a bit different with two different loyalty levels).

  14. What you experienced is what I would expect. The idea was to order Medallions while Shoreside is active and then remove the CC from there if desired. Have you ordered Medallion for the future 132 days out voyage?
  15. AFAIK, past practice had been to charge the full cost for the separate "standalone" beverage package (don't even think about buying that anymore) and individual drinks would be credited. It has not been that long since PCL promoted being able to purchase Plus/Premier Cruise Fare packages on board, so I am not sure if anyone has reported what happens. I would expect to be charged for the full voyage. It gets a bit messy for them to deduct one day package cost and then charge one day of Crew Appreciation, one day of MedallionNet, etc.
  16. This offering was mostly panned in this forum when it came out and then a number of times afterwards when other random folks posted about it. Seems like the story has not changed. It is not something I would do.
  17. Sounds like your email address on file got corrupted. In the pop-up login box for Princess.com, there is a "Need help?" link. Click that and select forgot user id. Another input form appears and you enter Name, BD, and a Contact Email. Try that and see if you get a response. ETA: After getting to bottom of pre-existing posts, I see your problem is solved.

  19. What about it? Are you telling us what you are doing? Are you asking how to do it? What kinds of alcohol? BTW, the port of embarkation is irrelevant.

  21. Advice to you and others to "beat the system". You need to think like James T Kirk in these situations. So, the upload or transfer to this 3rd party is not likely real-time live. Step 1: Add the card for Shoreside. Use some extra card you have that you don't really use much at all. Who knows - you might even be able to trick the system temporarily with an old expired card number. Step 2: Immediate order Medallions. Step 3. Quickly go back and delete the Shoreside credit card. I'll bet a buck or two your card number never gets to the 3rd party as it is likely a nightly upload. Step 4: Check status of Medallion order. I will wager another buck or two that your order is still there and active. For all we know, PCL may not bother to upload the card info until close to sail date. Would be nice to be able to ask their IT team.
  22. Hey all -- not just this poster - Princess announced earlier this year that BP's would appear about 11 days out from boarding date. Cannot speak to luggage tags as they have always been in Personalizer before and are only useful when printed to hardcopy, so IDK if that is an easy thing for many people to do from a phone. Luggage tags used to be 75 days out (which is of course way sooner than necessary).
  23. I was waiting for this to be reported. The other wasn't making sense to me, but I am not in the App with anything other than a Profile right now.
