  1. Thanks. Pricing seems about what I would expect and reasonable in the circumstances.
  2. I have not seen the new BP and QR screen in the App - other than a webinar presentation with a photo of it on a slide. Nothing was mentioned about having only one when signed in - or two for the cabinmate. IF they were actually going to use it in processing, it does make sense each person having their own. Makes it seem like the cabinmate would need to be logged in on the device after the first person was scanned. Besides the TS copy that has been mentioned by you and others, we could take a screenshot of the BP screen, then get the cabinmate's up and screenshot that. You could then show the screenshot(s) for check-in purposes. I can see why they may have designed it this way, but for a cruise, seems to me either cabinmate ought to be able to pull up both BP screens. Maybe you back out to a menu profile first? I am struggling here because I don't know exactly what the latest App looks like nor the newest navigations. I am also thinking if a family was staying in a cabin, the primary booker ought to be able to quickly access all four BP's. OTOH, having a check-in agent scan just ONE BP should be sufficient for check-in purposes as it will pull up the booking and everyone listed under it and you have everyone there with their passports, etc for ID check. So, it's not a big deal to me, but a NTH if primary guest could easily access all BP screens. But I think these screens are primarily for information purposes to confirm to the guest that they are all set to board the ship and which "lane" in theory they should access.
  3. They still need computer access to the system for checking in guests and verifying their information, photo matches, etc. I don't see how they could process a check-in if the system was down due to internet or other reasons.
  4. I am assuming Qantas is the carrier. On the route between Alice Springs and Uluru, the planes are small and best you could likely do is an exit row for leg room. You can check out aircraft used on the routes you are flying on their website.
  5. To update this list Do not push the "Quote" button. (It creates a copy that the next person cannot properly update). Instead: Find the most recent post with the list. Select and copy all of the text in that post except the change notes. (from To update this list up to <Copy to this line . . .>) Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the "Reply to this topic..." box. Paste your copied text into that box to create a new post. Make your modifications to the list. Add change notes at the bottom. Click the Submit Reply button just below your new post. Confirm that everything is correct! You can edit for up to 20 minutes. 6. Within 20 minutes, edit post. Tap and hold on a photo and it highlights. Hit delete key. On PC, highlight a photo and delete. I do this a lot when replying to a post with a string of photos as no need to repeat them all in a reply to a text post.
  7. We are not supposed to do that. It plays havoc with the HVAC system and affects nearby cabins. This is a no-no except for brief minutes.
  8. For me, any night is not good for shorts since they keep the AC quite low in the DR.
  9. More elevated than the once or twice we dropped in pre-pandemic (not sure which ships, but shouldn't matter).
  10. The tour has always intrigued me, but wife not interested. I know I can go alone. But, now I want to wait and tour Sun or Star. It will be a 1-time thing for me, so may as well go for the latest and greatest.
  11. Fine enough in your situation, but this is a system bug and should have been addressed long ago. Hardly a "little glitch". Its defective software design.
  12. Yes. This is what we have done when a move is necessary. Works like a charm.
  13. There has been a TON of discussion in multiple threads for the past month+ about Princess selling one thing and then delivering another due to changes. I wonder how many people watched the TV show and then booked a Princess cruise thinking they would have a huge stateroom and be hobnobbing with the senior crew?
  14. I presume you are not writing about having the same table and waiters each night. In this case, you just walk to table and do not wait in line.
  15. It would be changed in the System and Da Vinci res should be removed from DMW app if the change was made.
  16. And that is fine IMO. You ask anywhere and if they can give what you want in another one, the TD experience has been met, IMO.
  17. I would attend yours. Sounds like a blast. I don't want a funeral - just cremate me and scatter my ashes somewhere other than a trash bin. LOL.
  18. Last two "funerals" (celebration of life) I have been to, no suit and tie. Dress pants and LS shirt. Last wedding (hardly go to any these days) was outdoor and smart summer/tropical casual.
  19. Gee, it seems like it was discontinued well before that date. Losing track of time here.
  20. I would have asked her why she was asking me and was it a "state secret" that it was discontinued.
